I was really excited to try No Saint — it had been on my Portland food bucket list for a while, and even better that it was available on Resy. We made a 7pm Friday reservation, so I wasn’t expecting great parking (it’s street parking only), but luckily we found a spot nearby without having to walk too far.

We ordered the Palloncino bread, the endive Caesar, the Rigatonici vodka, a plain cheese pizza (with added pepperoni), and of course, the tiramisu — which was the main reason we came.

The Palloncino was unfortunately underwhelming and a bit dry. It wasn’t served with olive oil or anything on the side, and it mostly tasted like plain pizza crust. The standout of the night, however, was the endive Caesar — hands down the best dish we had and honestly one of the best Caesars I’ve ever had. Absolutely delicious.

The Rigatonici vodka was tasty, but the baked presentation threw me off. I would have preferred it as a traditional pasta rather than baked, but that’s more of a personal preference. The plain cheese pizza was just okay — I expected a bit more from a place that features a plain cheese pizza on the menu so prominently.

The reason I’m giving 3 stars instead of 4 really comes down to the service. The restaurant adds a mandatory 20% service charge to all checks, which I wouldn’t mind as much if the service matched that standard. Typically, you see an 18% automatic gratuity, and usually only for larger parties of 6 or more.

We added pepperoni to our cheese pizza (an extra $5), but the pizza came out plain. Since it was a busy night, we didn’t want to send it back just to add pepperoni. The frustrating part was that the pepperoni was still listed on our bill, meaning the server had noted it — but it never made it onto the pizza. We had to point it out to have it removed.

If you’re going to mandate a 20% service charge across the board, the expectation is that orders are accurate and service is polished. There’s a lot of potential here — especially with dishes like the Caesar — but the overall experience didn’t fully live up to the hype.

Legitimately some of the best pizza I’ve had in Portland, and that’s coming from someone who’s been to almost all of the heavy-hitters in town. Tastes obviously vary, but I don’t think anyone who likes wood-fired pizza will leave disappointed.
We started with the fresh baked palloncino bread, which was warm & delightfully chewy with a subtle lemony bite. However, it was super salty (and I say this a habitual over-salter). Thankfully the flaky finishing salt was easy to brush off, which tamed the saltiness. We also had the Belgian endive caesar. The crisp endive mixed well with the creamy dressing & the croutons were out of this world (not shocking, really).
For pizzas, we had the leek & hazelnut and the salami supremo. While the cheese and toppings were top notch, the doughy crust was the star. Perfectly charred, yet soft and chewy. Just excellent.
The tiramisu we had for dessert was also very light and dare I say refreshing.
Service was friendly and attentive. The atmosphere left something to be desired, but wasn’t bad & didn’t diminish the experience at all. Just maybe not quite up to par with other places in that price range.
Overall, a great experience. I will certainly be back!

Cozy spot for a date night or girls night out. Delicious seasonal menu. Highly recommend the Al la vodka pasta and don’t miss the tiramisu! We tried three cocktails this time, and next time would definitely check out their wine list, but the citrus season cocktail was a refreshing martini and their rose city was a sweeter take on an old fashioned. Arrive right when they open or else get a reservation to be safe.

Simply amazing! We came from Florida for a family gathering, and were invited to this awesome restaurant. My goodness, It was definitely a knock out. I don’t know were to start. The creative approach to everything in their menu, and the fusion of the ingredients and flavors was truly a wonderful and pleasant experience. The customer service was just as impressive as the food. The staff was knowledgeable, unselfish, friendly, and eager to ensure that every detail of the visit was on point. I highly recommend this place. You won’t be disappointed.

Came here for dinner and was seriously impressed. The portions are large and clearly meant to be shared, which worked great for our table.

Food:
Rigatoncini al Vodka (4.5/5): Fresh and not too heavy. The spice level was just right, very saucy, and the breadcrumbs added a nice crunch and texture.

Three-Layer Lasagna (5/5): Looks flatter than traditional lasagna, but wow, this was amazing. Very creamy and rich, with crunchy breadcrumbs on top that added great contrast. Different from what I expected and absolutely delicious.

Leek and Hazelnut Pizza (4.5/5): Thin crust, garlicky, and nicely wood-fired. It had a good mix of savory with just a hint of sweetness. It also felt lighter than most pizzas, but still very satisfying.

Pear, Walnut, and Caramel Gelato (5/5): The portion was huge. Perfect balance of flavors, refreshing, smooth, with a little crunch from the walnuts. My wife loves gelato and I am usually just okay with it, but this one was outstanding.

I do not normally enjoy pasta much, but every pasta dish here really impressed me.

Service:
Friendly and attentive. Just a heads up that a 20 percent service fee is added to every bill, not just large parties.

Ambiance:
Small and pretty crowded, but still enough space to move around without feeling uncomfortable. Lively and energetic, especially during dinner hours.

Overall, fantastic food, great for sharing, and a place I would happily return to.

I’ve eaten at top pizzerias across Portland and bake in my own oven, but No Saint just reset the bar. The Peach & Pancetta was flawless—balanced, bright, and easily the best pizza I’ve had in years. Every element felt intentional: ripe peaches, crisp pancetta, creamy ricotta, a whisper of heat from pickled chiles. The crust had that young sourdough tang—like a two- or three-day ferment—with perfect lightness and crackle from the wood fire. After one slice, I knew I’d found my new favorite.

We had the best time at No Saints. The drinks were unique and delicious, the service was fantastic, and the ambiance was perfect. I loved the lively hum of the room and watching the chefs work in the kitchen. The lighting felt just right for a cozy night out. The pizzas were incredible—especially the potato and prosciutto. We honestly wanted to try everything on the menu. This place is a true diamond in the rough.

Rigatoncini is a must try- one of the best pasta dishes you will ever have ❤️ The sauce and the way it’s cooked in the wood fired oven is so delicious. Crudo was exceptionally tasty. Every dish we ordered was 10/10. Don’t miss out on Tiramisu as a perfect way to end this meal. The ambiance and service were also amazing, great for a date night or gathering with friends.

Had an awesome visit last week for a Friday date night. The place does take reservations and I would encourage them as it does fill up quickly and is not that large of a space.

The atmosphere was quaint and lovely. It’s a bit of a U shaped dining room with the kitchen being in the center of the space. I liked the setup and the lighting and decor was nice. It was rather loud however, given the proximity of the tables, so keep that in mind if you’re looking for something a little more intimate. I assumed the vibe would be more upscale given the prices but it was a mix of dress from casual to date night.

Service was solid throughout the night. Servers were kind and attentive. I will say the pizzas being made fresh mean they do take some time so make sure to order that early if you plan on getting one. There’s also a takeout option which appeared popular.

Lastly, the food, which was quite delicious. We wound up going for the roast carrots, vodka penne, pistachio pizza, and tiramisu for dessert. The penne was tasty and rich without actually being that heavy. It had smooth tomato flavors and was light enough even with the buratta to have room for pizza. The pizza was outstanding and was both unique while still being familiar. It had a warm nutty taste and tasty cheese all around. Crust was also great. The true standout may have been the tiramisu which I would definitely encourage if you have the appetite. As a non coffee drinker it’s not usually a dish I order but it was absolutely fantastic. Super creamy and fresh, and so decadent we actually wound up taking some home.

Definitely a place I’d try again for specialty pizza and dessert.

Albacore crudo ⭐
[Jun 7, 2025]
– wouldn’t reorder
– fishy
– bad texture
– stuck together
– the mayo tasted cheap, sort of like those cheap Sriracha mayos, but it definitely wasn’t on paper, it seemed very upscale on paper

Brassica Caesar ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
[Sept 29, 2024]
– it has all my favorite vegetables
– perfectly roasted
– so fresh and almost a little hearty because the vegetables are so substantial

Roasted white peach ⭐⭐⭐⭐✨
[Sept 29, 2024]
– my partner rates this 5 stars but I can’t help but love the broccoli salad more
– this one is slightly lighter than the broccoli
– the cheese, fiore sardo, has a tiny bit of a funky after taste but I appreciate it with the peaches
– super soft caramelized peaches

Poached pear ⭐⭐⭐
[Jan 10, 2025]
– little too bitter for me
– learned I won’t order any salads that have “bitter greens” in the ingredients list
– thought it would be like a slight bitter like raddicio
– everything needs to be eaten together

Beets salad ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
[Jan 10, 2025]
– perfection
– not too sweet
– fresh

Charred beets and berries ⭐⭐⭐
[Jun 19, 2025]

[Jun 7, 2025]

Green tomato Caesar ⭐⭐⭐⭐✨ [Sept 14, 2025]
– surprisingly good, was slightly dissapointed on sight but my gosh it was delicious
– small portion
– served for a perfect bite every time
– really loved how thinly sliced the tomatoes were, that takes so much skill

Chicory salad [Sept 14, 2025] ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
– think this is my favorite salad here, I hope they keep it for a while
– it isn’t too creamy or relying too hard on the dressing
– I adore the brabander cheese
– everything was perfectly paired

Wood fired carrot and nduja ⭐⭐⭐⭐
[Jun 7, 2025]
– cheese was a little too rich for me, but so good to dip the crust in
– wish I didn’t mix this, the cheese was definitely a dip situation not a dressing situation
– loved the texture of the carrots
– liked the pickled carrots

❤️ Rigatoni Alla vodka ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
[Jun 19, 2025]
– perfect texture
– slight spice
– creamy
– my favorite pasta in Portland

Sausage and peppers lasagna [Sept 14, 2025] ⭐⭐⭐
– not for me, it’s totally ok but not worth the money
– it’s pretty small
– not as flavorful as the vodka

—— pizza ——
Peaches and pancetta ⭐⭐⭐✨
[Sept 29, 2024]
– I love all the bites with peaches but there weren’t too many peaches
– the ricotta was slightly too much for me but it was so indulgent, like I can’t eat too much, was still really good though
– it really needed more peppers for a spicy sweet taste! In generally I just needed more toppings.

– the texture shines

Quattro cipolle ⭐⭐⭐
[June 19, 2025]
