Had a great time at Rec Haus! Bex was our bartender and she was awesome—super friendly and always had a smile on her face. Berto, the manager, also stopped by and made sure everything was taken care of. We ordered the wings and the birria flatbread, and both were absolutely delicious. I also tried the Crested River Grape drink, and with it being Dry January, it was a perfect N/A option. Tons of fun games to play too—it feels like a mini Dave & Buster’s. Definitely recommend checking this place out!

We absolutely love this place! It is exactly what downtown Saint Charles was missing. It is our kids favorite place, they ask to go often. The arcade games are their favorite but we also love all the free table games you can play will enjoying some food and drinks. They have so many tvs so it is also the best place to watch a game with friends.
I haven’t had any food there that I didn’t like but so far the hot honey pizza is my fave. Chefs kiss.
Hugely recommend checking this place out if you want a fun, laid back hang out spot!

I recently had my 30th surprise birthday here and had such a fun time! I enjoyed all of the games, shuffleboard & putter pong were my favs! The DJ was a nice touch, too. Catch me dancing while playing bags. The space was decorated really aesthetically pleasing & provided great pictures with all my people! It was pretty neat spinning the “Shit Wheel” for my birthday (full of surprise shots). I also liked how there was a time where kiddos were asked to leave so it was adults-only. Lots of great memories made and we will definitely be back soon for a date night! Thanks, Rec Haus!

This place needs to be on everyone’s radar because it has something for everyone of all ages! From the second you enter Rec Haus, you’re hit with a vibe and energy that radiates “fun with my friends”. The esthetics and layout have been clearly well thought out with intention; most especially the couch area (which is quite comfy I must say). That truly reflects how important it is to the owners to provide their customers with a fun and engaging EXPERIENCE. If you’re not an arcade game person, grab a board game and play with your friends. If you’re not a beer connoisseur, the friendly and talented bartenders will whip up whatever you’re drinking…or they’ll make you a tasty “surprise specialty” cocktail that will quickly become your newest “go to” drink. And don’t get me started on those funnel fries!!!!!!! Put them on your “must order” list! I can’t wait to come when the weather is warm, and the patio is boppin, and the amazing garage doors are WIDE open!!

We are arrived at 7PM on a Saturday night. It was busy but not overly crowded. It was easy to do reservations online. Their craft of beers wall is a great way to sample different ones before settling on your favorite. Pricing on drinks and games is reasonable too. I did not get any food this time but their menu looks delicious too! Will definitely be coming back!

Update: returned for opening night and all the soft opening bumps in the road were fixed. Highly recommended!! Such a fun concept with good food, good drinks and vibes.
New activity and game bar in downtown St. Charles.
Attended a soft opening to check everything out.
Food: small handhelds and bar bites, nothing large enough to have dinner. Flatbreads and small sandwiches.
Drinks: they have a full bar and self pour beer wall
Ambiance: the whole place has seating and games throughout. Pinball, Pac-Man, Skeeball, Bocce ball, etc. Super cool concept.
Service: overall good, they were still working out some kinks with food ordering but everyone was super nice.
Can’t wait to see the grand opening!

Wanted to go here for my birthday, so I invited a group of friends from out of town. Tried to make a table reservation online, but there were only options to book games at certain times… Okay, decided to just pop in with a group of 10 + 2 kids. Would not recommend. All of the tables (of which there were too few) had reserved placards on them… It was 2:00PM and all of the tables had been reserved for 5:00 or later. Why were the tables already blocked off? Whatever, we found a 4-top and crowded around to look at the games. Everything was taken up, and there wasn’t enough space in the place to really breathe. The bar takes up a large majority of the main room there, and like I said, there really wasn’t any place to hang out. The wall with the beer taps with local beers was a nice touch, but we didn’t get to partake because we found a different restaurant that could accommodate us

We came in for my buddies 40th Bday Saturday night. We had been hitting numerous spots around town that offer cool things my friend hadn’t done yet and the night wouldn’t have been complete without finishing it out at Rec Haus.
We played the putter-pong with our group of 6 switching off 2v2 which was a blast while some played the new 2 player Halo game and Jurassic park. Then we ended with our rental of the turf lane for playing bags. It was such a fun night, competitive and exciting. The vibes were fun, music was good, place was hopping with all different age groups. Even though it was busy, it was easy getting drinks for the group. Staff was friendly and helpful. Thanks for making his birthday an unforgettable one!

Fun place! Went for a birthday party and we had reserved the shuffleboard. Kinda cool the screen above has a count down to how much time you have left. You check in at the front desk. The self serve beer tappers are great. You have a card to scan between each set of tappers and it’s billed by ounces. Note: you will need several cards for several people as each card has a limit.
Tip: you are only guaranteed a table to sit at even if reservations if you have a part of 10 or more. They run out of seats quickly. Did not try the food but it looked good. Some arcade games did not work and the darts were pretty banged up but overall a fun time.
