Small town, cute place. I don’t believe they were expecting how busy they would be for breakfast on Labor Day. Definitely needed more staff, had to wait extended time for everything. Would have given a five for the service due to effort and politeness however a regular came in and was given his order prior to other tables with orders in. Food was great pancake was huge with warm syrup. Omelette was generously filled with lots of veggies and meats. Disappointed they ran out of biscuits. Would return. Key lime cake and red velvet cake were ok,dry.

Absolutely amazing gem of a place hiding so close to home. Good food, caring staff, TRUE southern hospitality atmosphere- I’m so upset we haven’t been here sooner and more frequently. First time to Renea’s Kitchen and it was amazing! We had the daily specials -chicken fried steak and the BBQ platter. Everything tasted great and you can tell it’s made with love and passion. All the sides were incredible and the service is perfect. We’ll be back for sure!!!!

My GF, a business colleague and I found ourselves in this charming community one evening and Renea’s was the perfect spot for dinner.
The service was prompt and courteous, the menu options were numerous and the prices were QUITE reasonable. The waitress was attentive and cheerfully explained the menu options and the day’s specials. We were promptly brought our drinks as we contemplated our options.
The food was brought to us in a timely fashion and the portions were generous! The dishes were quite good. I ordered the smoked chicken with green beans, Mac & cheese, and mashed potatoes.
We were all quite happy with our food. For dessert, my GF ordered Oreo cake and the slice was HUGE! It could easily be shared by 2-3 people.
All in all, a great option for breakfast, lunch or dinner if you find yourself in Rock Island/Midway, Tennessee.

What a gem! The food was excellent! We had a double cheeseburger and a patty melt each with onion rings. We were so full there wasn’t any room for the amazing looking desserts. Everyone was friendly. Can’t wait to go back and try their breakfast. Highly recommend!!

Very nice restaurant. Had the country fried steak, French fries, cornbread and cole slaw- it was very good, the gravy was excellent! Cole slaw was good, more of a vinegar taste. The cornbread was different with it being in the style of a pancake. Also ordered the Philly cheesesteak sandwich and some of the best onion rings! The sweet tea was perfect and a huge glass! Lemon pie was very good as well. All homemade! We’ll come back again when we visit Rock Island State Park again (only 10 minutes away).

Perfect spot for some country cooking. Our family was in town staying at the cabins at the park which was about 10 minutes from the restaurant. Let me first say the size of their sweet tea and drinks is exactly what a man likes! They had to be 36oz plus. The service was very good as well. The food was delicious. The macNcheese was really good and the chicken fijita plate I ate was full of flavor. We got a couple pieces of pie and cake when we left and all of it was good but the banana pudding was perfect! Def worth a stop.

We love to find out of the way places to eat. We found Ranea’s when we were camping at Rock Island State Park. This place does not disappoint! The food was delicious and the portions were more than I could eat. The service was amazing and the adorable place was just the best experience! We will be back one day!
