This seems like a nice location and the staff was friendly. I’m just disappointed with the amount of custard i was served. $13.65 for 2 large vanilla custards with sprinkles. I get home and see the cups half filled. I loved Rita’s and was saddened to see this as I’ve never experienced this before.

Update after management replied: being near the end of the season is a lame excuse for having so few flavors. I am seeing this be a complaint ALL THROUGHOUT your season. Also failed to reply about the other problems happening at this location. Just go to another ice place like Opie’s for better service and variety.

2. Setting is a little scrappy (the employees try their best to keep it clean, but the inside is ugly and there’s a trailer attachment just sitting in the drive thru area)
3. The girl serving me was very nice, but the one manning the cash register yesterday at around 4 PM was very curt and just wanted me out of there.
I’m coming from the Rita’s in Annapolis where there’s many more flavor options available, and there’s no seating inside you just take it and go.
I suggest the manager do something to make more flavors available. There was so little to choose from.

It has been so hot lately, this was the perfect treat. Took the whole family to get ice, custard and gelati. Tried a new flavor as well Recommended by the employee. They were very helpful while tending to an elderly customer. Can’t wait to go again.

This particular location was okay. You can actually go inside of the building. But the building was very warm. The 2 guys that were there serving we nice but too playful. My Rita’s Italian ice was not good. It tastes like unmixed gelatine. (That was the mango flavor). The Cotton Candy and Swedish Fish were pretty good. This location is in Catonsville,MD (Frederick Road Area)

I’m only giving this a 3 star because of the 2 employees. Both of the ladies were on their phones the entire time. I get if no one was inside but once my family and I came in one of the girls stayed on her phone. Then after we got our order which was great I saw one girl spraying lysol around! I think there was a bug they were trying to kill but spraying lysol when there js FOOD around is terrible and could get someone sick. If we go back I’ll just won’t order if I see those 2 girls working there.

Pure excellence! It was my first time at Rita’s. I got the gelati with vanilla custard and Mango Italian ice. It was SO amazing! The flavor was not too sweet, since the custard balanced the sweetness of the mango. The customer service was warm and welcoming (and patient) as my family needed a great deal of time to decide what they wanted. It was also great to support a Black owned and operated establishment. As the hot days of summer become hotter I will definitely be going to this Rita’s for more!
