We ordered the fish sandwich and shrimp Po boy. There was one slice of tomato cut in half and one piece of lettuce per six inch sandwich. There was only 3 pieces of shrimp on the poboy which they flattened out. When you put them side by side so you can get shrimp with every bite it only covered half the sandwich.they used to put at least 6 shrimp in there sandwich. What happened?

Stop on in! Chicken tenders/fingers are just like we make at home. Burgers and fries are perfect. The place isn’t a chain restaurant with 100 soda flavors….you get a can of whatever 5 sodas are available and a cup of ice (and of course plenty of tea). Our server was nice. We enjoyed talking with the friendly locals.

The Shack is an absolute hidden gem! The food here is seriously amazing—everything was fresh, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. You can tell they put care into every dish. On top of that, the atmosphere is super cool and laid-back, making it a fun and unique spot to visit. Whether you’re a local or just passing through, don’t miss this place. Highly recommend!

My family made a stop here on our way to the Gulf. Kids loved the cheeseburgers, wife loved the chili dog. As for me, best Cole slaw I’ve ever had anywhere. I also got the Buffalo chicken. They bread it and prepare it themselves, and it was super good! This is worth the stop! They even have an outhouse!

Just passing through and stopped here for lunch. The hostess reccomended the Shack Fries which were delicious but the fried okra was the real prize! Friendly staff, yummy food and very reasonably priced for the portions ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
