To go order was missing 3 soft tacos…no sauce in the bag, or napkins. Also we ordered 2 Mexican pizzas. They were both smashed completely, and had the wrong sauce on them. I normally visit the Hutchinson location, and I recommend you do the same. Steak burritos were made with just beef. Seems they can’t/won’t follow simple orders, and have no regards for the food.

I ordered through the app for the first time from just down the street, and the food was ready by the time we arrived. While waiting for one of the drinks, I noticed we received a medium cup instead of a large. The staff member behind the counter was friendly and quickly corrected the mistake, ensuring our entire order was accurate. He was multitasking, helping at the window and cleaning the kitchen at the same time—definitely hustling.
Inside the restaurant, it was quiet; we were the only customers for about five minutes, while the drive-thru was busy. The kitchen floor was a bit messy, and the dining area had dirty tables and floors. However, it was after the lunch rush and only two employees were on duty. Considering they were short-staffed and juggling walk-ins, drive-thru, and app orders, I think they handled it well, and customers seemed satisfied with the service.

I ordered through DoorDash and they got my order completely wrong except for one item! Ordered 2 sets of nacho fries, one was for my toddler, and got sides of some kind of potato? Ordered a large drink, got a medium with no straw. Added sour cream to my soft taco, no sour cream. I use to work in fast food so I understand things happen, but come on

If I could give them a 0 I would we did an online order we got there and was missing a meal ( the new chicken nugget meal). And they said they had discontinued, but it was still on the website. We asked for a refund and they said they “don’t know how”. Then we didn’t get cheese on our chalupas and more than half of it was lettuce. They also gave us a half full slush (in the pics below) but at that point we were just ready to leave, And no straws either.

We’ve lived in Newton for years, and this Taco Bell has had serious, ongoing operational problems for at least four years.
Tonight my daughter was stuck in the drive-through for over an hour. This is not unusual—it’s a pattern.
During long waits, employees are frequently seen outside the building smoking while cars are backed up, and there have been multiple occasions where employee behavior strongly suggested impairment while on the clock. Whatever the cause, it is clearly impacting service, safety, and basic management control.
I understand staffing challenges, but this goes far beyond that. This appears to be a chronic management failure with no accountability. Other fast-food restaurants in town manage reasonable service times—this location consistently does not.
At this point, corporate needs to step in and audit management and operations, because this store is damaging the brand and the community’s trust.

Pull in the drive thru. Did not use the App to order. When I went to pick it up they do not take cash but never said anything about it before. I used my card but waited a long time for my order. I will NOT be back.

I come to this Taco Bell very frequently. Quite frankly I do have to say I havent been very satisfied lately but the handful of times I have been recently, the customer service has been just delightful there was a very pretty young lady in the window with the biggest smile, i had been waiting a bit long on my fries, she was very sincere and apologetic, she had even given me a free taco coupon for my wait, when I had received my food it was fresh, with amount of cars i was quite impressed, glad to say me and the family will be coming here more now

The only modification I ever get to any of my food is no sour cream. It makes me sick, but everytime I go to this store half my food always has sour cream. I will get sour cream on items then normally dont have it. Went tonight which was 2/1/26 all of my food was modified to have no sour cream. Every single item has it, Im not entire sure how hard it is to read no sour cream but the staff in the newton store are incapable of it.

Recently has been getting even worse if possible. Consistently bad. Each time I come here they’re always out of something with several hours left of service. (Namely nacho cheese sauce and diet soda.) After multiple times of this I had enough. Whenever they do have stuff it’s shoddily-made. Avoid the cantina chicken menu if you enjoy having your insides intact. Think I’ll chance the drive to the Park City one now.

I waited in line for 20 minutes just to see the worker hanging out the window smoking a weed pin handed to her from a car full of teenage boys. and a vape. I wish I would’ve gotten a picture . I watched them get their food and then proceed to chat for 10 extra minutes, while the drive thru line piled up. Whenever we got to the window there were multiple orders sitting there waiting to be handed out. I ordered 2 grilled cheese burrito with beef… there was only rice in the tortillas… The baja blast machine was down and they didn’t have large cups! This is my first ever review and I do have a lot of respect for people who work in fast food, but this is worst service I have ever had here in Newton and would not recommend going at night.
