We were so pleased with this place! First time in Salmon and it was the closest restaurant to our hotel. The smoked salmon appetizer was delicious and very reasonably priced. The tacos had unique flavor pairings and were robust. The pad Thai was authentic and tasted wonderful! Highly recommend!

0/10. Our server was nice, but serving food in sweat pants, not professional. The manager was in sweat shorts and was rude. Being understaffed is a excuse for long wait times, not horrible food. Take a hint from all the reviews, quit burning the burgers Beyond Edible. The blue cheese was so rotten, and the bacon was black, and hard. The food sat in the window for like 15-20 minutes. So unprofessional and sad. We spent way too much money here. Very disappointed. DONT RECOMMENDED

Ate here 2 weeks ago and keep thinking about how much we didn’t like the food.

I ordered the Pad Thai with chicken because their menu said it was a signature dish, so I assumed they had perfected their recipe. Other reviews talked so highly of it, I didn’t think I could go wrong ordering this dish. Yet it was the soupiest pad thai I’ve ever eaten. If you did a quick google image search, you would see that pad thai is not typically a soupy dish. I was in shock when my food was brought to me and it was sitting in soup sauce. It was too vinegary and full of red onions. Who makes red onions the main vegetable in pad thai? This dish may be a hit for someone, but that someone is not me.

My husband ordered the Feisty Chicken Sandwich and said the feta sauce was too overpowering, and the chicken was not great.

The wait staff was super friendly and attentive though! But I likely won’t be a returning customer.

We were in Salmon on a Sunday evening so options were very limited. Honestly based on reviews we probably would have gone elsewhere but one was a three hour wait and another had just closed their kitchen. Six out of the seven of us went with the burger figuring it should be a pretty safe bet. The menu said half pound cooked to medium unless you ask for a different cook. When one of our group asked for well our waitress said oh they are all well done. Well done is not how I would describe these burgers, burnt to a charred crisp dry near inedible state is how I would describe these. Our waitress was good, our fries were good but these guys don’t have a clue how to cook a burger. We would have been better off eating at the taco truck in the hotel parking lot.

I wanted to like it. The waitress was good. The atmosphere was fine. It was cold and I wore my coat.
The food: portions too small for the price.
Several item descriptions on the menu were incorrect. The feisty chicken sandwich was too spicy for me, and overcooked. The bun was good and the waffle fries were too.
Husbands burger patty was crispy and too small for the bun.
The wait: we got there at 540 and didn’t leave til after 7. Took about and hour to get the food. We missed our movie. Probably won’t go back. Sorry to say. Love to support family owned small businesses.

My father-in-law lost his mother during COVID and so we were just recently able to have her funeral. We had the family dinner after at The Last Wave on the patio. The service was great, the food was AMAZING and the restaurant looked excellent. Bathrooms were clean and beautiful, the staff visited with us all periodically without lingering on, too long. I am very impressed. The owner told us she had never been in the restaurant business before, I wish her nothing but success! Go grab the Cowboy burger from here. You won’t be disappointed!!!

Beautiful view of the river from the patio, great local beer selection and the canned cocktails were way better than expected! Appetizers were well priced and filling, and the carnita tacos were delicious! Loved the live music and friendly staff. Highly recommend stopping in for a bite!

Eaten here twice. Has a nice trendy atmosphere. Had a wonderful burger and smoked salmon appetizer but then had the pad Thai. The chicken in it was pretty bad and I think old but otherwise the dish was good. I’d be back but would stick to burgers.

Had a hamburger and it was great…..thick juicy meat.
Loved the ambience on the deck….umbrellas and a view of the Salmon river.
Visited a 2nd time and ate tacos……unusual, creative and tasty.
Live music on Friday. Servers were efficient and kind.
Love that place.

I was so disappointed when the kitchen staff was blatantly vaping over the food in the kitchen with the owner not more than 8 feet away. Made no efforts to conceal it. Unfortunately only noticed this after the food had been served. The waitress was very nice, but the food was not very good. It lacked good flavor and presentation. And once we noticed the vaping, all appetites were gone. Only keeping two stars because the waitress was nice.
