We were trying to find something local to celebrate my husbands birthday and found whiskey and smoke moved adjacent to underdogs (they share a bathroom). We ordered the two meat sample platter with ribs, pulled pork, Cole slaw, Mac & Cheese. It came with toast and relish and a side of bbq sauce. I ordered the loaded baked potato with chopped brisket. Husband order a whiskey he had never tried but the bartender Joey suggested and even let him sample! He loved it! We finished the night with the skillet brownie a la mode!
It was a great birthday dinner!
Thursday nights they have music trivia ands they will be having some other specialty nights soon!

Went here recently for a show. Did not eat any food but looked good coming out. Service got off to a slower start as I think they were understaffed for the entire room. Eventually it was better. Had a few beers but only 1 time did they come with a lime which is normal for most Mexican beer. Not a big deal to me, but others may be disappointed. Overall was great upscale atmosphere with a nice dance floor.

I hosted a surprise retirement party for my wife yesterday at Whiskey-N-Smoke down on the River Walk—and let me just say, she wasn’t the only one in for a pleasant surprise!

I had never eaten there before, but I liked the location, appreciated how easy it was to get to, and wanted to support a local spot. From start to finish, working with Jamie Creevy, the GM, was a breeze. Planning an event can sometimes feel like herding cats, but Jamie and the team made it smooth and stress-free.

The menu? A mouthwatering lineup of brisket, smoked chicken, potato salad, Cole slaw, green beans, salad—you name it. Everything was flavorful, generously portioned, and honestly, just downright delicious. (Let’s just say no one left hungry or without a to-go box.)

The servers and bartender were top-notch—attentive, kind, and on top of everything. The bartender even crafted a perfect strawberry lemon drop for my wife, which quickly became the drink of the afternoon. (We may or may not have a new family tradition.)

Everyone raved about the food, the service, and the venue—and I couldn’t agree more. This was my first time at Whiskey & Smoke, but it certainly won’t be my last.

Came to Whisky and Smoke for a special event, Mystery Murder Dinner. The entertainment was good, but it was interactive and had you mingling. The food they served was a four course meal, and the prime rib was definitely top tier. I’m a fan of tequila old fashions and they had a pretty good one on the menu. Definitely would recommend either for regular dinner or their special events.

Went here for the tribute band, Fleetwood Journey last night. We were totally
disappointed. We arrived early to enjoy a meal before the performance started.

First, they changed their menu up and had no BBQ. I ordered a glass of wine with dinner, the server didn’t know which cabernet sauvigon wine they had or how much it cost. When our table mates sat down, it took forever for their order to be taken. They had to ask for water cups, silverware and a glass for their bottle of wine.

The stage was so small the headliners were trying to figure out how to get all their instruments on stage and still be able to perform. The opening act started on time at 7 pm. He was a blues singer and was good for his genre, but not our cup of tea. When I looked around at the room, most people were playing on their phones.

After 45 minutes of his performance one of our table mates went and asked the manager how long until the headliners would be playing. He let them know it would be another hour. This left Fleetwood Journey with an hour performance. Along with our tablemates we decided to call it quits and left.

This was our first visit to Whiskey & Smoke. Each employee was cheerful and very attentive. Our server was very helpful and patient with our 10 person party. The brisket was delicious and the pecan salmon was amazing. Thanks again!

These guys. Who does service like this anymore?!Rare these days. So very impressed. Really good business minded practices centered around taking care and catering to the customer experience, and good food. The service was incredible. The GM went out of his way to ensure my allergy kid had something to eat since there wasn’t much on the menu for her. And let me back up… I realized I forgot my wallet when I got there. They figured out a way to let me pay – and I was happy to. I was so impressed. Simple clean filet, sides, salad, and peach cobbler at end.

Business. Earned. Well done.

If you like food served at room temperature, you will love Whiskey and Smoke. Absolutely everything was room temperature except the green beans; they were served hot. There were maybe two other tables eating so it’s not like they were busy. The brisket was served cold and tough and the sauce they served on the side was right out of the refrigerator. I feel for the investors of this restaurant. It’s not going to end well.

You have to give Whiskey & Smoke a visit. We started with the Wagyu Tartar. Wow. The presentation was so fun and the flavors were off off the charts.

They’ve got a fantastic BBQ menu, the steak was delicious and the drinks were creative and fun. We even loved the Banana Pudding (we had ALL the things!)
