It was my favorite place with my friends. Until new employees arrive. I often visit this place but i guess i have to stop . My friend they give up this place because they cheat the food size. I had an avocado tartine all the time. And they not give it to me the normal half baquette . They give me chunk . I understand they can make half baguette 2 sandwich but really worth it? Sad sad sad. This place was good food. I give to good tip you don have to do that. I hope the owner do something about this problem. So disappointing. I show you the half baquette you post to be cut and make avocado tartine.

Every time I visit family in the area I come to Le Merle. Hands down the BEST French bakery in the area (and frankly as good or better than shops in NYC and Europe). The Croissants are flaky and delicious and the Morning Bun is out of this world. I’ve had their baguette sandwiches and they are yummy too.
Their espresso and lattes are equally good. Bonus that they have GF options too for my gluten free family members.

One of my favorite brunch spots in the area when I’m wanting to treat myself! The baguettes are delicious & all of their sandwiches are great; my favorite is the classic jambon buerre. The pastries vary weekly & they always have a great selection. Great small local business that deserves your support!

Omgosh y’all! Must share this absolute gem of a spot! Stopped in for a quick matcha + espresso and ended up discovering the best baguette I’ve had in years.
Like, legit transported to France good. And that roasted garlic & cheddar croissant is pure heaven, flaky, savory, and totally crave-worthy.
Bri Gamez is the #BossBabe owner of Le Merle Coffee Bar and Bakery. She’s a self taught badass who’s totally nailing it! The shop is cozy, welcoming, and packed with seriously delicious pastries.
Whether you’re into coffee dates, flaky layers, or just supporting sweet local spots—this one’s a must-visit. ✨

What a cute place! Everything we had was delicious. We had the croissant waffle hazelnut that was amazing. My husband had the char-cutie sandwich and it was very fresh and taste – very good baguette. I also had the honeycomb toffee coffee – unique and different. The owners are such a nice people. Definitely going back!!

Went twice for brunch a few months apart. Ambiance is cute with bistro table sets outside. Coffee was meh— disappointing. Definitely too much water. Hubby had quiche. I thought it was inedible. No salt or seasoning. Horribly bland. The quiche was gluten free so no crust. I had an avocado tartine. It was ok. Not enough avocado and seemed overpriced for two slices of baguette with only a tablespoon or so of avocado. We wanted to love this place as we’re locals but it was expensive & underwhelming. The reviews are inflated. I consider reviews to be critical to small business & consumers and really put effort to be fair & unbiased. Cafe Paris in IRB better option.

The food here is truly incredible from the breakfast sandwiches to the pastries I’ve never had anything bad. But where they really shine is their specialty cakes. The owner who does all the decorating herself is a true artist I’ve ordered two cakes from her now and not only are they beautiful they’re also DELICIOUS! There was an issue with pickup for the cake I recently ordered and the owner went above and beyond and delivered it personally to the event I had ordered it for. I cannot say enough good things about this place! (See attached for a photo of the Dune cake she made with the planet and a sandworm!)

Welcome to the neighborhood! What a wonderful coffee bar and bakery. Very friendly staff, great prices, and a comfy (covered) outdoor patio. Great hot and iced coffee drinks. You’ve got to try the Iced Honeycomb Toffee Latte. Amazing! Add this to one of their “Croffles” (think croissant/waffle fusion) and you’ll have the best day ever. Or you can pair your coffee with one of their distinctly French sandwiches – on a croissant or baguette. So delicious! Looking forward to becoming a regular at Le Mèrle.

Wonderful breakfast/brunch spot! Pistachio iced shaken espresso was delicious! But the MORNING BUN…a must try! The sausage, egg, and cheese on a croissant was buttery and soft. It made our day finding this place. We can’t wait to be back! Thank you ladies!

Ordered 2 custom cakes here for birthdays. Both turned out beautifully and exceeded expectations! Communication was a bit difficult but they were able to resolve and work with me. I would trust this bakery to make your cake vision come to life!
