Inside was basic/sandwich shop vibes with arabic music playing. I ordered and paid online and my order was ready on time.

The chicken shawarma was really good, it might be the best I’ve tried in the area so far! Pita was fresh. The spice level was good. The grape leaves were served cold and had too much oil for my liking, but flavor was okay. I wouldn’t order the grape leaves again. I would want to come back and try other items on their menu! They also had a selection of desserts that you couldn’t order online but were in a display case by the register (baklawa and maamoul + a lot more).

Parking was tough, there is a small parking lot behind the building and a municipal lot a bit further down the street. I had to wait a few minutes to get a spot. The other option is street parking with varying time limits, most were 15 minutes immediately in front of the shop.

This place serves Lebanese food that is absolutely delicious. We got the spinach pie, beef and egg and cheese bread, kofta kebab, and hummus and baba ghanoush. It was scrumptious. We will definitely be back. My 3 yo even loved the food. The seating inside was comfortable and nice though small and the staff was very friendly. Highly recommend!!

Za’atar manouche was delicious – fresh, warm, tasty. Enjoyed with some freshly brewed house blend tea and a quiet, relaxing environment. Very nice place with many items for purchase as well. Excited to try other items on the menu.

I’ve been driving an hour to West Roxbury to see my chiropractor once a week and my husband and I recently discovered this great little restaurant, Bread Thyme.

Gabi is the chef creating delectable Lebanese dishes. Everything is incredible, this is the epitome of fresh and clean food. I have never had Lebanese food before and Gabi loves to take the time to explain his dishes.

We’ve been here a few times and I try to taste something new each time. Today I got a Caesar salad with Kafka on top, which was great, and my husband got the Chicken Shawarma wrap which he loves.

We always get the bread, and today it was fresh out of the oven and still warm. I took a video of my husband breaking it open with the steam coming out, but we can’t put videos on Google reviews!

Gabi’s wife, Joelle, makes these amazing gourmet chocolates. Today we tried their Signature Cup filled with nuts and dates, topped with a heart made out of fig. It was delicious. If you’re ever in the West Roxbury area this restaurant is a must try!

Great place. We’ve gotten take-out from here 8 or 10 times, and every time the food was delicious, the guys behind the counter and in the kitchen have been friendly and competent, and everything is sparkling clean. My only suggestion is to stay open a little later – frequently it’s after 6pm when we’re talking about what to do for dinner, and a few times it was too late to go for Bread Thyme. Otherwise all good!

Great spot that I found the other day! Delicious, high-quality, authentic Lebanese food with super friendly customer service. I had the lentil soup and some dark chocolate-covered coconut sweet. They have Arabic music playing and very nice wooden tables to sit at. Will return to try their salads and meat dishes.

Would like to see large photos of Lebanon and artwork or quotes from Kahlil Gibran. Maybe some fake or real palm plants, as well. Salam!

My friend & I stopped in to check this place out recently. We had coffee and some baked goods which were really tasty; I especially like the turmeric cake. They also sell chocolates which I’m looking forward to on my next visit. I returned a couple weeks later with my husband to order some dinner to go and we got a falafel wrap & a chicken shawarma wrap. They were both delicious and the shawarma is the best I’ve ever tasted! I’m happy I live down the street so I can make more visits to Bread Thyme to try all of their dishes.

My favorite restaurant in West Roxbury! I’ve loved everything I’ve ever ordered here. I’ve been meaning to write a review for a while, but the food is always so good that I end up enjoying it before I even think to take a picture. Consistently delicious, fresh, and clearly made with love—an absolute gem!
