Great food! Too bad it’s served in a grubby dated charmless dining room. I have only subtracted the 5th star because of the ambience. It’s too authentic. I feel transported to Mexico but in a wow I might get robbed kind of way. The furniture and everything seems old and gross. I ordered a Carne asada burrito adding avocado (they were out of true guac). The green salsa was above average BUT I still to this day haven’t experienced great authentic green salsa in phoenix… this one is closer than most places I’ve been. The red salsa was great. The asada wasn’t chewy but a couple bites were… tough to avoid with the low quality beef these kind of places can afford. I will likely return and that’s really saying something with all the other places I could try. Nice job!

Authentic and Delicious!! We loved this place ordered enchiladas verdes, tacos de asada and pastor pork with chipotle. So Good . The tortillas are freshly made and the green salsa was exquisite!!

Be careful if you come here. They charge more than the prices advertised, more then what the menu states. When we question them they use the excuse they haven’t had time to change them. If the total was $1-2 difference would be one thing but $5-10 good thing had enough money with us. Very deceiving. Question is are they just making up prices for whoever comes in or just too lazy to update the menu to reflect correct prices. Stay away very shady.

Small family owned restaurant, the whole family works here! FYI- if nana is working you get a bit more , she doesn’t want you to leave hungry!

For the price of McDonald’s you get a burrito the size of your arm. Guaranteed to keep to tame your Tiger Tummy. The tacos are the same, plenty of meat to go around. Buy 2 if you are doing lunch, buy 3 for an afternoon siesta!

The seating is above average and cleaner than the larger restaurants in the area. The tables are not sticky and the chairs are soft and comfy.

Try this restaurant out! Show the family some love and give the boys a tip when you see them after school.

Our first time and the food was great! They make a delicious jalapeno, onion, soy sauce salsa to die for, it was a little spicy but not enough for me.

I had the al pastor tacos which were awesome. But I’m a chips and salsa guy and for my money these were the best chips and salsa. They have a salsa that’s not only very hot but very tasty as well.

As with any Mexican restaurant I come upon, I ordered the menudo, and I was not disappointed! To go, I received a large styrofoam cup of delicious red broth and a bevy of well-cooked tripe. Accoutrements, lime, onion and cilantro, along with a grilled bread, is provided to compliment the delectability of the breakfast meal.
I will certainly be returning to try their caldo, their cocido, de res; the Mexican beef version of chicken soup. They also seem to have loads of other yummy offerings which I look forward to trying.
