I’m so glad I took a chance on this bakery! From start to finish, the experience was amazing. Everyone was kind, polite, and genuinely cared about making sure I was happy. The gentleman who made my cake took the time to really listen to what I wanted—and he absolutely nailed it! My cake was not only beautiful to look at but also incredibly delicious. It turned out even better than I imagined! I will definitely be coming back for all my future cake needs. Highly recommend this bakery to anyone looking for quality, creativity, and great customer service!

10/10. the team was friendly, knowledgeable, understanding, and helpful in my moments of uncertainty. initially i sent an email inquiring about the availability of creating a cake and received a response in less than 24 hours. i emailed images of what i wanted and the company responded with phenomenal certainty and additional options to make my request 10 times better. the scheduling process was simple as it was handled in my email. a deposit is required and drop off of desired useable items (if any) must be dropped off 72hours prior to creation. final payment is also required 72 hours prior to creation. pickup was seamless and handled very calmly and carefully by the designer/baker with guidance on reaching my end location without damage. now, to the actual cake. quality and taste 11/10. worth every cent! the icing and cake pairs so well together. the design is perfect. my only complaint is unrelated to service and product, but to price. the price of the actual cake was great! very affordable for the quality and craftsmanship. however, the price i paid in store was not the amount that appeared on my credit card statement. this may only be a credit card service charge. however, i would suggest as a best practice the company notify the customer(using a credit card) prior to payment that a service charge may apply.

I am giving a one star today and my honest review because I was a little blindsided today. We ordered a couple of cakes for birthdays from here recently with good results and delicious cake. Last cake we did find a hair in one cake but weren’t sure it came from the cake or us and gave the benefit of the doubt. I called the store to place a last minute cake order yesterday am for pickup today. I show up today and they tell me there is no cake and it’s for tomorrow. No one mentioned this on the phone. So I start looking at window cakes, which are a day or so old mind you and half off. When I picked one out I was told to just take that one, no writing on the cake or even offered for the mix up and was basically told to take the display cake as if I had paid for a fresh one and didn’t offer to refund the difference. This really didn’t sit well with me and even after going back in and asking for a refund they only offered a credit at the actual bakery. I will not be coming back. The cakes are good but the customer service here was severely lacking and no one tried to make it right. Seriously disappointed. Save your money and make sure you confirm what dates they tell you.

The staff is lovely, but the piping and writing for custom orders is insanely messy. This has been the case for two separate cakes now. Tastes great, but if you’re looking for customized presentation, I’d recommend looking elsewhere. Anything standard like cupcakes, cookies, etc. is perfectly fine, though.

So thankful a friend recommended old town bakery! I waited a little too late to get a cake, and no one was able to help me except this bakery. The communication was great and the staff was friendly. I specified the style of cake I needed, and they delivered! Thank you so much! You now have a return customer! Honestly I don’t think the picture does this cake any justice.
