This has to be hands down the best gyro place in town. The freshness of the food is incredible. I have been wanting to try this place for a long time and I finally had the chance too. The service was asking. I met the owner and her son. They were very sweet and welcoming! I tried the gyro platter with rice and veggies. The gyro meat was flavored so well. The rice was flavorful. Everything was just amazing. The fries and house sauce was simply just amazing. I don’t have enough words to say how amazing the food was. This will definitely be my spot to get a good healthy meal from!

Gyro City Grill has the best gyros in all of Columbus! This new location will be a perfect addition to New Albany as this is one of those places you can tell takes pride in what they serve. The food is fresh, flavorful, and included generous portions. Their gyro is packed with perfectly seasoned meat, crisp veggies, and the best creamy tzatziki sauce that ties it all together. The staff is friendly, fast, and genuinely welcoming. The owner is actively in the restaurant and she is a delight to speak to. The restaurant itself is clean, includes photos of Greece on the wall, and you can see your food being made since it’s an open kitchen. Whether you’re stopping by for a quick lunch or bringing the family for dinner, Gyro City Grill is the spot that consistently delivers delicious food and great service. Highly recommend, will definitely be back!

My daughter’s enthusiasm was truly contagious. She had lunch here today and couldn’t wait to share her incredible experience with me, saying, “Mom, you have to go! It’s amazing!” Her recommendation was spot on, and I’m glad I took her advice. New Albany has been missing a venue like this for far too long. I had the pleasure of meeting Arnett, the owner’s son, who has perfected the art of customer service. The food was outstanding, with generous portions that left me feeling full. Although I couldn’t finish my meal, I made sure to save room for dessert and took some home. As soon as I walked into my home, I was eager to try a little more in this dining experience. The rice pudding and baklava were both sublime, and I’m still deciding which one I prefer.

The gyro meat is soooo good! The regular gyro had lots of meat. The fries are so crispy and hot. My husband got the loaded Greek fried with gyro meat. It had a ton of meat.

Definitely worth checking out! We’ve been waiting for a nice Greek place closer to home.

Food is good, inside is clean with plenty of seating for the size of the space.

They offer pickup with a drive up takeout window.

Not sure if this is a soft opening or not, but their social media and website doesn’t very clearly show that it’s been opened. Nor is there any grand opening signage. It is open though.

Absolutely incredible food, but another thing that truly makes this place special was the manager (I think) Joanna. She is so warm, genuine, and welcoming — the kind of person who makes you feel like you’ve known her forever after just a short conversation. That conversation made my whole night. You can feel the love she puts into her interactions with people and the food is delicious with generous portion sizes. Many new restaurants open up in this area ans many are good, but only a handful really stand out (to me) as extraordinary. This is one of those places ❤️

Omg I moved to a rural area of Ohio 3 years ago from the uk . On a business trip to new Albany dying for a kebab (kebob) like with have back home. This place did not disappoint huge portion beautifully cooked beef and chicken there sauce was insane I couldn’t give it a 10 star or I would . If I lived closer this would be a weekly treat! Fantastic thank you so much. I’d add I photo but I ate it too fast lol 10 out of 10 recommend please go try it! Thank me later lol
