Neither option is in Huntsville and Hattie B’s is the most legit Nashville Hot Chicken place in HSV right now and it is a damn good one at that.

All around great experience. It was extremely packed with no seats inside or outside when I stopped by and we still recieved our food within 10 minutes. The food was great. Very well balanced with spice. The sandwiches have big pieces of fresh chicken smothered in whatever sauce you pick. I went with What The Cluck and it was very spicy. Delicious though. I will definitely be back.

This new location was clean, fun and inviting! The inside had plenty of room and was laid out to accommodate the lunch rush. We did not have to wait long as we got there before the rush, but even the line after us moved rather quickly. We ordered the Dirty Bird Fries, Tenders with Medium Heat and fries, and Grilled Tenders with No Heat and fries for the kids. The kids order was rang up incorrectly so it came out fried, but the server quickly corrected the mistake and brought grilled out. We were not a fan of the fries, but we went back and ordered the Mac & cheese for the kids. They liked it accept for the “red things” (pimentos).

The bathrooms were clean, but the music was blaring in there. The music in the eating area was a little loud too, but manageable. Overall, it was a good experience and will definitely be visiting again!

So happy this adds to the south side food selection. Since it opened driving by and seeing the parking lot packed I had to check it out. Service was nice and since I visited during bad weather it wasn’t that crowded. Yeah the pimento mac and cheese i never had before so i wasn’t curious. If u dnt want pickles on everything u gotta say it. I forgot. Yeah it was cool didn’t like not knowing which parking lot lead tothe front entrance but it was overall just ok. I must say that peach slobber is to die for, simply delicious. I don’t mind peach clobber runs.

Hot chicken at its finest! The good: friendly staff, fast service, food was fresh and piping hot. Area of opportunity: small amount of indoor seating created limited space for families to dine-in. Most would not enjoy patio seating in Alabama with heat and humidity. Overall, I highly recommend you check them out. Go for the Hot before trying the spiciest levels. Children should order the heat levels below Mild.

Thank you for saving me money or it may balance out. Now I don’t have to drive to Nashville to get my Hattie B’s fix. I’ll save on gas, but will equal out with food. Ok now with the review. Yes there was a line, but I’m use to that with Hattie B’s. I ordered my usual 3 fries tenders medium with fries and this time I ordered Southern Collard Greens (I had a craving for them instead of the Pimento Mac & Cheese). Food came out quick and fresh. Was not disappointed at all. Atmosphere was great. Needless to say, I will be back. They done a top notch job in opening this location. I’m glad that Hattie B’s is in Huntsville now. The whole crew was friendly and navigated the opening day like champs.

The food was great, there is plenty of seating both inside and outside, and the wait was not too bad. I found the tenders at medium spice to be a comfortable level, not very spicy but has a little kick. The pimento mac and cheese was very good and a nice portion. There wasn’t much of a line to order and the wait for the food wasn’t too long either. The atmosphere is nice, lots of seating inside, and the outdoor seating has activities and a decent amount of seating as well. Would recommend for those that like chicken.

Service is an A+ from the moment you walk in—you immediately feel welcomed. The staff is more attentive than most sit-down restaurants. Simple but thoughtful touches, like walking around to offer to-go containers and bussing tables promptly, really stand out.

Food-wise: I wasn’t a fan of the pimento mac and cheese, but the greens were delicious with very few stems. The medium wings were excellent—piping hot and full of flavor. I’ll definitely be back.

Stoked to have a Hattie B’s in Huntsville! This is one of the first businesses to open in Stadium Commons, but I imagine in time it’ll be a cool, bustling area and I’m excited for the future.

We’d tried the Birmingham Hattie B’s in the past to very positive effect so we’re beyond thrilled they’re here. After the loss of Big Shake’s a few years ago, there’s been 0 opportunities for good hot chicken in town. No longer!

We visited a few weeks ago, not too long after their grand opening. There’s soooo much parking, especially since for now Hattie B’s is the only real game in the area. Still, there was a line out the door that we joined quickly; I guess we came at a good time because it got much worse within a few minutes of us stepping in. Still, despite that fact, it was only 20 minutes between our joining the line and placing our order. All things considered, not too mad about it. They had heaters on the sidewalk close to the restaurant so we weren’t freezing, either.

Employees were on it and still pretty friendly and engaged despite the huge crowd. My husband and I ordered for ourselves as well as my father and sister in law and they handled the large order well. We wound up sitting outside below one of the heaters. There’s a good amount of seating, especially outdoors, and it’s compatible with large parties. Our food came out in an appropriate amount of time. Beverages are self-serve; one of the sweet tea jugs poured unsweetened tea for me, but I dumped it and found a different container more suitable to my tastes.

We ordered a variety of tenders, bone-in bird, and chicken sandwiches. I got medium heat tenders with fries and an extra side of pimento macaroni and cheese, as that was my favorite thing at my last visit in Bham. My other sis-in-law and her husband got fried pickles for the table and they were good! Crispy pickle chips served with delicious ranch. Can’t go wrong there.

My husband got bone-in fried chicken. He ordered it hot, which is one step up from the medium he got at our last visit (which, at the time, wasn’t hot enough for him). One side of his chicken was reallyyyyy hot (uncomfortably so – and also comparably significantly hotter than BIL’s hot tenders) and the other was pretty mild. Idk if maybe the seasoning got dusted unequally or what, but he was suffering until he wasn’t, lol. He still enjoyed it and said the chicken was juicy and cooked well.

On the other hand, I could’ve stood for my medium heat tenders to be a tiny bit hotter. Still figuring out preferred heat levels, I guess, but I don’t wanna blow my poor sinuses away, lol. They were tasty, succulent, and large tenders. The fries are nicely executed crinkle cuts and go great with the delicious buttermilk ranch.

I will admit being a little disappointed in the pimento mac and cheese. It was life-changing last go-round, and the flavor was still good, but it was sadly cooked to mush here and the texture was just too soft. Don’t get wrong, still good enough to eat, just not singing to the heavens about it this time.

Overall, a super solid opening from a really fantastic regional, growing chain. Glad to have hot chicken in Huntsville again and looking forward to future visits.

Met up with a friend for lunch today, and we selected Hattie B’s. This Nashville Hot Chicken Restaurant opened a location here in HSV during the second week of Dec 2025.

I’ve heard of Nashville’s “Best Chicken Resturaunt” since around Spring 2006, but I’ve never had an opportunity to give it a go. Needless to say, since they now have a local to me place, I’ve been looking forward to trying their fare for myself. After today’s dining experience, I can totally understand why folks love this place.

We each selected 3 Jumbo Tenders, Fried – HOT. He chose the Pimento Mac-n-Cheese; I chose the Crinkle Fries. We also added a single Damn Hot tender to give it a taste.

The HOT is equivalent to Popeye’s Spicy Chicken. The Damn Hot is a very tasty dry rub fried tender which will bring the heat and make the face sweats happen. I am looking forward to giving the Shut The Cluck Up a try on my next visit.

We each opted for soft drinks, but draft beer, mixed drinks, and bar options are available as well.

I give Hattie B’s HSV location a full 7 out of 5 Stars!

8 employees behind the counter with one register open and 15 people in line. Zero clean tables at 4 on a Saturday so we got take out. The food is good, but not good enough to make up for poor service. The waffle could be bigger but it was tasty. Difficult location to enter and exit.
