Mark Wahlberg is a great actor. But can he cook a burger? I had to find out!
I entered with high hopes, Mark smiled down at me from the walls. Contactless ordering at the display, I punch in an OFD burger (Originally From Dorchestah), fries. I make a snap decision to have a beer with my burger, just as God intended. $33. Bloody hell.
There’s not too many folks in the establishment, I find a seat. It doesn’t take too long to get my food. In a bag with a huge stack of napkins. An ok portion of fries and a big boy burger. But they forgot my beer – I have to ask for it again, and the check-out lady grudgingly hands it over.
I pick up the burger for a first bite, and I immediately understand why I was given such a huge stack of napkins. The grease runs down my fingers, dripping. Some people might like that. I don’t. The burger is tasty enough, but heavy as hell. Double patties should be smashed – crispy, not too meaty. Mushrooms aren’t cooked long enough. It’s not bad, but it’s not great either. Fries are pretty good, but for the life of me I can’t find any ketchup.
I leave the restaurant and my question has been answered. Mark should probably stick to acting.

Absolutely awful experience at Wahlburgers in the Delta terminal at DTW. I ordered the O.F.D. burger with truffle parmesan tots and a water, which somehow came out to nearly $30. For airport food, I expect overpriced but this was just bad.
The truffle parm tots were completely inedible. The truffle flavor tasted extremely synthetic and overpowering, like fake oil dumped on top, and the parmesan didn’t help at all. They came with a side of mayo, which did nothing to save them.
The burger was even worse. The patty was burnt to the point of being chewy and dry, the bun was stale and dry, and the whole thing tasted like it had been sitting under a heat lamp. I’m actually shocked because I’m a big fan of Wahlburgers beef patties from the grocery store, which makes me wonder what’s going on in this kitchen because this tasted nothing like that quality.
I get that it’s an airport location, but this was borderline inedible and not even close to worth the price. Huge disappointment and definitely not a place I’d stop at again.

Deceiving marketing. Charged me $10 for a piece of bread and egg. The pictures showed with bacon and Sausage. But it said +$3 for bacon so I took it off and then it came with only one egg never will be back.

Awlful experience. I want to believe they were short staffed. The cashier was nice, did warned me it would take around 20 minutes for my order. I only ordered a side salad and some onion rings, and it took 35 MINUTES, and I’m pretty sure I only got the order because I talked to the clerk. The salad was dry, the picture showed it had cherry tomatoes, that was not what I got. The onion rings were soaked in frying oil. Would give zero stars for the food, if possible.

Food quality is very low, salad was not fresh, avocado was spoiled, and it took forever to get food. Burger’s taste was below average. Definitely not recommended.
