My wife and I are repeat customers of The Wildemount, and we visited most recently for Valentine’s Day dinner. While we aim to support local establishments, and have enjoyed this restaurant in the past, we were disappointed by several aspects of this visit.
First, despite requesting a table away from the entrance, we were seated in a drafty area near the front and center of the restaurant. We were told moving was not possible due to the reservation system, yet several preferred tables remained empty throughout our entire meal. It remains a mystery why the seating issue couldn’t have been resolved in our favor. I did note that most of the four person tables were occupied by two people so that could not have been the problem.
Regarding the food, the wait times were excessive given the fixed holiday menu for Valentine’s Day. The portions are now disappointingly small for both salads and entrees. The pasta dish I ordered (vodka chicken) should have been double the portion size for the price paid. The chicken portion on my dish was neither generous nor adequately seasoned, although the small portion of pasta and sauce were passable. The arugula salad was okay but again, small. The lack of bread service has continued to be a notable deficiency.
Our server and host were professional but again the seating issue colored the entire experience.
The Wildemount is one of those places where small sins could be forgiven based on food quality, although there has always been some measure of inconsistency. However, this visit was just a perfect storm of mediocrity in every aspect and calls into question their focus on quality and service.

One of my new favorite restaurants of all time. Food, service, atmosphere 12/10. Great attention to detail all across the board. I prefer my Wagyy cooked rare and the Wagyu was beautifully cooked here & the caramel soy steak sauce was something I’ve never tried. Definitely excited my taste buds. This is a wonderful place to grab dinner on a Tuesday like we did or even a special occasion. Wonderfully intimate yet warm atmosphere.

We really wanted to like this restaurant, and we did. We decided to have our anniversary dinner at The Wilfemount. It was a Tuesday evening and the place was empty. They sat us a small table for 2. It surprised us as there were many tables available. We had appetizers, entrees and desserts. The food was very good. There are a few things that stop it from a 5. Decor- Christmas is over. Remove the three trees starting with the one by my table. The flat bread was really good. The brief salad I would’ve preferred the brief at room temp rather than chilled. My wife’s pasta with salmon was very good. My braised short rib was huge, tender but lacking in punch. The pumpkin polenta was also lacking some seasoning. The grilled asparagus were excellent. The London fog creme brulee had that wonderful sugar top and beautiful creme inside. It was a challenge to pick up the London fog aspect. Still a very good creme brulee. The Lisbon chocolate cake also delicious but was much much better at room temp as it was too firm from refrigeration which is an option to serve this cake. All in all a 4.5 star rating.

Great meal and service. Good place for date night. Fairly pricey but felt we got our money worth. Good food pairings that are not run of the meal. Highly recommend.

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit last Friday. I was eager to try the Beef Wellington and while pricey, it is very tender and tasty. The Caesar salad was exciting because of the unexpected subtly sweet croutons that accompanied. We also tried the Beef and Cheese Dip, which does not sound impressive by the name but do yourself a favor and order it, if it’s on the menu during your visit. It’s got a nice natural smokiness to it. For dessert, I had the orange cranberry cheesecake and O-M-G, best cheesecake I have ever had in my life.

My husband and I went to this restaurant for his birthday. Our reservation was at 6:15, and when we arrived, we were seated very promptly. At a table that rocked back and forth every time we touched it. We asked our server if the table could be fixed or if we could perhaps move to another table, and she moved us to another table, even though she seemed put out by the idea that we were complaining. The menu was a plain piece of paper that was printed on both sides and was limited. Neither of us drinks, so we had water, and I had a diet Coke with my meal. We both ordered a salad before dinner, and had finished the salad long before our meal was served. We were there for an hour and 40 minutes before our meal was ever served to us and were just getting ready to leave when our food arrived. I had the chicken piccata, and the noodles were so undercooked that I could not even wind them up on my fork. My husband had the quail. The food was hot, and I could tell the noodles were made from scratch and not pre-made, but the sauce that the chicken piccata was in tasted like straight lemon juice. It was not very good. We finished our meal and got the check which, for the two of us, with no alcohol, was $114. We never saw our server unless we flagged her down as she was walking past us to another table. It was very loud in the restaurant, not for music, but because there are so many tables crammed into such a small space and everybody was talking over everybody else. So, from our perspective, this was a very overpriced meal in the experience was one I don’t care to repeat. We will not be going back. Very disappointed.

Absolutely wonderful date night tonight! We split the lamb and falafel for an appetizer. I could have licked the plate clean! The Caramel Soy Wagyu Filet was everything I could have asked for and more. Hubby got the teriyaki salmon and it was great! Don’t expect to be in and out here, as it takes a while, but that is all part of the experience. No one rushing you out to turn the table. No room for a dessert tonight as we were stuffed! We will definitely be back! Maybe next time for appetizers and dessert! Compliments to the chef!

10 out of 10. From service (Matthew) to the food, it was fantastic. Definitely try the goat cheese peppadews! They were phenomenal. The salmon (which I never like, but my husband gets) was the best I’ve ever tried. Ribeye was absolutely awesome, but please, pair it with the worcheshire butter mushrooms !! Creme Brulee also delicious. Highly recommend this restaurant.
