Was taking a stroll on Bishop and none of the other places seemed appealing. The vibe and line coming from Taco Kabana is what drew me in. The friendly staff was so inviting. I didnt know what I wanted…so I told him to serve me their most popular dish. It was the steak quesadilla and let me tell you, it did not disappoint! Lots of savory meat and cheese. The filling portion was just right! Also, this one quesadilla was enough for 2 meals! The price was pretty amazing as well..$13 i think. Definitely stopping by here next time I am in the area! Thanks guys!

I usually love the veggie burrito at this place but today was an exception.

When I opened the wrapper, I discovered that the burrito was burnt (pics attached).

I wish you could be honest with your customers.

If you wanna get some Mexican food in downtown for lunch, this might satisfy your craving. They got a good selection of protein and types of food like quesadilla, salad, tacos, burritos, burrito bowls, even chimichangas!

I got the chicken, fish and steak tacos. The flavor was pretty good, but I had to not treat it like Mexican food to enjoy the meal… I’m not sure why the tomatoes and onions were so coarsely chopped up. They looked like vegetables ready for stir fry not for toppings in Mexican food. Then the sauce they drizzle on top tasted interesting, but glad there’s some salsa verde in a separate container to eat my food with. The fish was seasoned well, but it’s very soft and just broke apart when I picked up the taco. Didn’t seem the be the right kind of fish to be used in tacos. The steak and the chicken meat were good.

I mean I finished all my food. They tasted decent. Not too salty or sweet, nor underwhelming or overpowering in any sort. If you go in not thinking it’s Mexican food, then you wouldn’t be disappointed.

The place had quite a few tables and it’s packed during lunchtime. There was an empty table that no one took. I didn’t get why until I sat down and realized the light underneath the spinning fan was shining on the table like a strobe light. I didn’t wanna get a seizure while I was eating so I moved to the counter standing area by the window to eat my food.

Overall, ok, not bad. There definitely could be room for improvement. If they could do that, I’m sure there would be more people visiting.

I was craving taco since yesterday…was walking in town after a business today and came across Taco Kabana. I ordered the beef tostada, chicken nacho fries and chips/salsa. All were deliciously prepared and nice propotions. I wasn’t that hungry (it was a lot) but I wanted to try more than one dish. I gotta say, if you like Mexican food, you gotta try this place .. it’s ono.

Authentic Mexican! This is the Beef Burrito Bowl… all rice, no beans, no sour cream. Absolutely delicious!! The beef tender and generous. I am in LOVE with this! Salsa verde was spicy, but not overwhelming. I work across the street so I call in my order right before I walk over. They tend to be very busy!

It met my expectations for street tacos. It’s the sauce, the cilantro, the chopped onion, and lime that make tacos taste so good and this hit the spot. It was a good amount of meat, though I cant eat it with my hands bc it’s too full. There also a decent amount of seating here as well.

Went there once and had the steak burrito bowl. Full of flavor! Perfect size with lots of meat, the perfect amount of rice and beans, and the veggies were fresh and crisp. The bowl and a soda was under $14 and it filled me up just right. I probably could have gotten two meals out of it but didn’t have anywhere to keep it cold. Was crowded but got my food in under five minutes. Both workers were friendly and efficient. Will definitely be coming back soon! If you work in town then this is the place to go as you will not feel a kanak attack after.

I bought Street Tacos with Chicken. It was the best Taco I ever had. It was onolicious. I will be back to try their different menu items. After passing by several times I’m happy I decided to give them a try. My tummy was very happy.

Great little taco place… The service was awesome. Tried to order the Lengue but it was already sold out at 1pm. Ordered the fish and carnitas taco salad instead. The fish was excellent especially with the lime, sour cream, guac and salsa provided. Unfortunately the carnitas was too salty. Appreciated the roll of paper towels on each table. A very welcome addition to the downtown lunch scene!
