Very friendly, fast service but the real bonus is the food! We LOVE their Calzones! The large is huge! My husband and I can only eat 1/2 at a sitting. It is loaded with mozzarella and ricotta cheeses and we got ham in ours. Absolutely delicious! If you’ve never tried one I highly recommend one!

It’s a shame, I used to get food here all of the time because it tastes great. However, I will never order from here again. Out of the last 10 times I ordered a dinner platter here, they forget to include ANY salad dressing with the salad at least 4 of those times. I had to throw away the salad because I had no dressing to put on it. The most recent time, I ordered the lasagna dinner which included a salad (ordered with Caesar dressing) and bread. I also ordered a side of meatballs and a side of sausage. I have always trusted these guys, but no more. First, when I check the receipt, I was charged $30.12. The lasagna should have been $15 and the meatballs and sausage $3.95 each. The total shouldn’t have been for no more than $24. What was the extra $6 for???? On top of that they forgot to include my Caesar dressing. So once again I had to throw my salad away AND be charged $6 extra for that. Used to eat here at least once a week, but never again. You lost a valuable customer.

I thought the 1st time I was sharing a pie with a co-worker that it was a fluke that this was a GREAT tasting pie. Well, we came back a week later, and it was just good. The owner makes his sauce from scratch. Delicious!

Wow! I spent my whole life in Philly. I’ve tried every cheesesteak you can find and I swear by this! Southside Pizza makes the best cheesesteak I have ever eaten! This cheesesteak was made with heart and soul! And I really appreciate that type of quality! Thank you Southside for going above and beyond! Wow! I’m totally floored!

I ordered a buffalo chicken pizza for delivery and was highly disappointed! The chicken looked like it came out of a can. There was so much cheese and hot sauce on the pizza it tasted like vommit. I called the owner to complain about the pizza and offered to bring it back. The owner refused to make any type of restitution. He offered me a free soda the next time I ordered and talked about the rave reviews from other customers. I told him I would be happy to return it in exchange for a regular pizza but the owner refused. I wouldn’t recommend this pizza to anyone. The name fits the quality of service and the owner “Southside Pizza” don’t expect quality or satisfaction. A horrible pizza that fits with a horrible owner!
