Went in to celebrate a birthday. Got shotgun shrimp appetizer and a fried shrimp dinner and paid the extra $2 to upgrade to onion rings. (Totally worth it!) and had a coupon for a free pizza. Everything was so delicious and the potato straws the shrimp appetizer came on was one of my favorite things!! It’s like the crispy edges of a hash brown that everyone knows of course is the best part. Imagine a plate full of those. Yummy! And the shotgun shrimp was delicious and I love the creamy spicy shotgun sauce. My husband was surprised there was 10 shrimp with his shrimp dinner. You normally get maybe six. The service was wonderful. It was on a Monday about 430 so they weren’t very busy but we did that on purpose plus my birthday was on a Monday. Probably the only disappointment was I kinda hope for some little sweet treat for my birthday. But didn’t get anything. I was full and took quite a bit home. I heated it up and ate the rest the next day. We will definitely be back. It was a very positive first impression of Bubba 33. Thank you

I’ve been here on 2 separate occasions, I can’t say I’m a huge fan but it’s decent. You won’t really find anything out of the ordinary but it’s a good place nonetheless. The atmosphere is nice and the staff is very attentive so I’ll give it a plus! The wings were pretty sizeable and the alcoholic drinks are quite tasty. I often opt for the healthier choices and they seem to have some pretty good salads so I’d definitely try them in the future. Even if the food is just okay, I’ll definitely be visiting again and recommending it.

They added what I said not to add to my burger and barely put any mushroom. I also got a bacon cheeseburger and they forgot the bacon???

First time here. Not pictured was my kids cheese pizza. She said it was very good just a little thin. But that’s only the kids meal pizza cause I saw another large pizza pass out table and she was thick (the pizza lol). Wife got a drink. Loved it. We ordered the California chicken plate with an extra piece of chicken and it was amazing. But what really sets this place apart isn’t the cool vibes or the tvs everywhere. Not even the fast service. It was how nice everyone was. The manager even came out twice to talk to us because he found out it was our first time there. The guy who brought out our stories and food was just amazing. He made sure it was perfect. Our waitress was super nice and explained what she recommended from the menu. Just a fantastic time and to be honest I haven’t been treated like that in a restaurant in a while. Highly recommend.

Visited Bubba’s 33 in Brownsville today with my wife, sister, and niece, and we were truly impressed! We ordered the pepperoni pizza, chicken tenders, smashed burger, and finished with the brownie dessert with ice cream. Everything tasted great, but what really stood out was the service.
When our pizza was first brought out, our waiter Armendariz and the manager/owner Rolando came over and explained that the pizza did not come out to their standards. They insisted it was on the house while a new one was being made so we wouldn’t have to wait hungry. That kind of honesty and attention to detail is rare to see, and we really appreciated it.
Later, when our dessert was served, another server noticed it didn’t look right and immediately took it back to make it better before bringing it out again. Small details like this show how much pride they take in their food and service.
This was my first time here, and I have to say, we don’t usually see this level of care in Brownsville restaurants. Rolando’s high standards and his team’s dedication made our visit a memorable one.

For the type of restaurant that it is and considering some of the competition, Bubba’s ranked right up with the best of them, way better than Buffalo Wild Wings IMNSHO. Our waitress Anessa had a sense of humor and was very friendly, also keeping a close eye on us to make sure our needs were being met. Our orders were abundant and I was particularly impressed, as a veteran, that they have a patriot sandwich that when you order, they donate money to a veteran’s organization. We had way more than we needed for supper, yet I didn’t think the prices were high. I also got an order of onion rings as an appetizer and it was abundant with two types of dipping sauce. Everybody seem to be really cooperative and helping the team to do well. Did I mention the food was tasty, and fully loaded with all of the condiments you could want, as well as a big burger.

This was our first time eating at Bubbas 33. We absolutely love this restaurant. The food was brought to our table very timely, hot and fresh. The atmosphere and waitstaff were all awesome. They took the time to explain the menu and noted that many items are made from scratch. I highly recommend the Fish and Chips. I substituted a side salad for the Cole slaw. The food was fresh, hot and the salad was refreshingly good.

Loved the Shroom Burger and Fries! Cooked just right. And the blue tea was good too – kind of like Gatorade. The place is lively; lots of families, and people enjoying a night out. Great service, we were waited on right away, and our food came out quickly. Good music videos and sports and entertainment on the many TVs throughout. Good selection of adult beverages. Pizza too! Daily specials on pizza (Tuesday), and burgers (Monday). Lots of parking. So glad we didn’t settle on a fast food burger, but went here instead. Brought to you by the same company that owns Texas Roadhouse.
