Me and my partner were craving Chinese food and after an hour of comparing takeout places we decided on Speedy Wok and I’m so glad we did. I got the chefs special sesame chicken and white rice and crab Rangoon and my partner got the beef lo mein and black pepper chicken and fried rice. I haven’t had good takeout in years and it’s worth the 15 minute drive!!! The crab Rangoon is amazzingggg and everything was well seasoned and great portions. This will be our regular takeout spot now!! She even gave us an extra lemonade on the house! We had gotten the pink lemonade originally and she gave us the original one as well. They were very friendly and had great attitudes! Rocky Mount yall are missing out!!!! We walked in and ordered our food and was probably there maybe 15 minutes at most❤️❤️❤️

I called over the phone and placed my order. They said they tried to call me but I had no missed calls. They said they wanted to make sure I wanted my order. I placed my order at 8:09pm and came to pick it up sound 8:37. They didn’t start making my order until I paid. Almost an hour and I’m still waiting on my food. If they would have told me they hadn’t placed my order I would have not paid and left. Unacceptable

It was late and I was pushing it towards getting there right as they closed. The lady taking my order gladly took it and said she understood. When I told her my father was in the hospital. I got there. Everything was ready but somebody had called in the wrong place and they were from Greensboro and so they had food left over at the speedy wok that would not be sold. So I offered to buy it and the lady was touched and sold it to me for $5. A large chicken lo mein. So all the food is good. Always has been. I feel that it always will be. And the people are kind and that goes the long way. As far as the atmosphere, it seems like they’re rearranging getting ready to do tables again because that stopped when covid came through and now it looks like they’re going to go ahead and start tables again. It was all white and clean and nice smelling. I hope to try their wing special. They seem like good prices and go up to 50 at a time. It will be great for football season. But either way the food hasalways been great. My favorite there is beef egg foo young I always get that with an extra side of gravy (they call it brown sauce I think)so I highly recommend that dumplings are good. I get them fried but you can also get them steamed. Simply because the food is great and the people are kind. I would highly recommend this place to anyone.

Food is ok but service isn’t so good. We ordered to eat in and still got styrofoam “to go” trays to eat from and the lady sat my cheap as ever plastic fork right on the table. Not a napkin or my tray but the bare table…last time I will spend my hard earned money here.

I eat here whenever I’m around the way and let me tell you I would rate them 5 stars but I added 4 stars only because they can be stingy on the duck sauce but other then that food is great. Also when ordering shrimp they need to cook it a little bit longer cus last time I ate their shrimp it was pretty raw still.
