Had some excellent Valentine’s Day bbq with my wife. We got the 3 meats 2 sides combo, awesome value for the literally tray of food I left with. Brisket, pulled pork, ribs all ridiculously good. Mac and cheese and cornbread were fantastic as well, Texas twinkies were great also.

Real nice guy enjoyed talking to him. Definitely a real hardworking guy. Will absolutely be back

The owner of Royster’s BBQ Co. is friendly, offers good bbq, and provides a couple seats indoors along with some picnic tables out front.
Folks can catch a glimpse of Bertha (their food truck) around back when she’s not at events. Catering is available with at least two-weeks of notice for scheduling and preparation.
We tried all three of the house sauces (BBQ, honey mustard, and a vinegar based hot sauce). The latter is our favorite to enjoy with the smoked meats, coleslaw, and Mac and cheese.
The Mac and cheese is made with shell pasta which allows for cheese to be in every bite. It was good but we wished it were less congealed and more creamy/saucy.

If you’re looking for top notch BBQ then definitely check this place out! First time customer, I ordered the brisket which was seasoned perfectly and a great bark on it. The homemade barbecue sauce was smoky and tangy without being overly sweet and the sides were excellent too. Looking forward to trying the ribs next time!

We ordered the brisket, ribs, and pulled pork. The bark was perfect, the meat was very juicy, and smoked to perfection. The Texas Twinkies were amazing and delicious. Bryan gave first-class customer service; he was very welcoming and even gave my husband the choice between the flat or the point of the brisket (he always goes with the flat). If you love Texas style bbq and are anywhere near Cheshire, CT, you should check them out.

We are frequent fliers at Royster’s and are HUGE FANS!! We got married yesterday and had Roysters cater our small 20 person wedding with a full try of brisket, and half a tray each of the pulled pork and pulled chicken with their bbq sauce and honey mustard to spoon on. Everything was incredible from the friendliest people, especially Brian, our favorite ever food friend, to arranging, pick up, and the taste and presentation of everything! You should have seen how much of everything we got in these trays, the portions were generous, juicy, flavorful, and literally smoked to absolute perfection- you’ve never had anything like it, I promise you. I just called the shop to tell Brian how grateful we are for this blessing of food he shares with the world and I wanted to come on here to tell everyone else too because they deserve so much recognition for what they do and how they do it. Nicest people, out of this world service and food!! We love you guys!!

A buddy and I stopped in here for lunch after a hike on a cold veterans day, and it was just what we needed. From the delicious food to Brian’s welcoming presence, we really enjoyed it. Brian seems like a bit of a character, but in that all around wholesome good dude kinda way, really appreciate his energy. The food was great and the portions were generous, will definitely be back!

If I’m going to get BBQ I always choose this place because the quality and taste are far superior to what I’ve typically had in this area. You can tell the owner has a true focus on the actual meat, and not dressing it up with tons of sauce and sugar. His actual BBQ sauces are an option which he puts on the side (they are very tasty and not sugary at all). Meat is tender, extremely rich and flavorful all on its own, service is very fast. Prices are reasonable and I have been buying a whole chicken and using it for lunch over a few days afterwards with good results. I have a more sensitive stomach and unlike other BBQ, the food from here does not bother me.

I honestly can’t thank Brian enough for providing the wonderful turkey for Thanksgiving dinner! The consensus around the table was it was the best decision I could have made! If your family is ever in need of a holiday meal I highly recommend Royster’s.

Brisket was fine, I had higher expectation with the reviews. Very juicy even after sitting for a bit. Fat rendered nicely and good bark. Beans were okay. Seems like a smokey/molasses thick paste/liquid on the beans. I thought it would come with pickled onions like the photo. Mac and Cheese was extremely salty.

Mother went in here and got .5lbs brisket and 2 sides. But was charged over $30 and informed of no food combos. The combo is in the $20s on delivery sites but in store you charge 30+? Did the lady want to sell more and cash in on it?

It’s more of a takeout place, That is why the atmosphere.
Missouri type of barbecue. They use pepper, so a barbecue with pepper was delicious. If you haven’t tried it, you’re missing out. Collard greens, apple vinegar is delicious. I plan to visit again.
