Sadly since it reopened it’s not very good, the table was dirty/seats were sticky/rice was extremely stale/our orders tasted like frozen foods microwaved (fish tacos were one).
The complementary chips were the best part of the time me & my wife spent there for lunch recently.
We left feeling bad for the wait staff, they seemed almost depressed.
It is sad because it used to serve very yummy food.

I used to go all the time before it closed. I loved it! Now when I see it is open again I was the first to come back but… the place wasn’t the same.
There was no one there, I stood by the door for a long time before I had to go ask if I could sit. The food was not quality like it used to be, and the same things I used to order were garbage. The best part was the free chips!
After the door incident the staff was very good, but the food was lacking. 2 stars.

We went to the restaurant because we want to eat before return to Tampa and was referral from people from the area. Gave 2 stars just because the waitress was so nice and very professional. Regarding the food is poor. As somebody said Taco Bell food is so much better. I will not visit again. If you want to ear mexican food you better check another place.

This was the worst restaurant and dining experience of my long eating out experience. We visited Saturday, May 31st at about 5:00 PM. We went to the hostess station to put in our names for a table. After being ignored for 5 minutes a nice young lady said she was NOT taking names because she knew who came in when. There was a party of three and a party of two ahead of us.After 10 more minutes the party of two left. Another party of two then entered. Deja vu on the hostess station. Finally the hostess returned and told them the same thing she told us. No names.n ,more minutes past and the party of two left. Finally the hostess told us she had our table ready. Except the party of three was ahead of us and were waiting longer. When we pointed that out she seated them. Thus continuing our wait.
Then a party of six entered – same scenario. They had two children and got frustrated with waiting so they left also.
Finally we were seated. The hostess apologized for the long wait and said they only had three servers on duty and she was trying to allow them to catch up. We did notice one young lady trying to bus tables as efficiently as she could but could not seam to get ahead.
The irony in all this is the restaurant was only about 1/3 full.
EVERY unoccupied table had dirty dishes on it.
Our waitress, Olivia, was very nice. She brought us chips and salsa. The chips were as stale as stale could be and were not edible. My wife ordered a taco dinner and the tacos were the worst she had ever eaten. My Chappa bean side dish appeared to be right out of a can of pork & beans and microwaved,
Spouse went to restroom – returned and said there was NO WATER – paper towels all over the floor and the trash can overflowing. She said it made her disgusted. I then visited the men’s restroom. There were two wall urinals. I am 6’2″ and I had to stand on my tip toes to reach them. Perhaps Kareem Abdul Jabbar could have fared better. Likewise my restroom was filthy.
I noticed at about 6:05 PM – one hour and five minutes after we arrived a young man about 5’6″ wearing a red shirt and khaki pants appeared. I assumed he was the manager. He appeared to be totally lost and had no concept his restaurant was falling down around him.
Bottom line is STAY AWAY FROM THIS RESTAURANT!!!

Atmosphere very nice. Went there for Fathers Day. Sorry we did. Taco Bell has better food. We were not the only table complaining. First time there. Won’t be back.

staying at americinn nearby. tried this place once before and it wasn’t a good experience, but thought I’d give it another shot since anybody can have an off day and it is close to the hotel. I won’t return again…never…even if it is free. they weren’t busy but the bartender seemed to have better things to do than fill drinks. got the chx enchiladas…ate one and a half and thought where is the chicken so I opened up the remaining one and a half to find a sad diced chicken tomato stew. I really wish I could post a pic of this meal. if all the other restaurants in town close and all the supermarkets are out of food go fishing in a canal or try to catch some furry critter before u come here. just sad. how is it still open?

I’m done with this place. They were washed up before and they still are. The wait staff can’t get away from your table fast enough and they take their sweet time coming back. The table was filthy and the floor was filthy. Poor service! No way Jose!

Food is hot, but bland. Bar staff is slow even with a half full dining room. Wait staff is the only redeeming quality. Try Poblano’s on State Road 70 instead.
