Another hidden, gem I’ll say I have never had biscuits & gravy quite like this. You know alot of times the gravy is more flour than anything else, well this one is creamy and delicious with no flour taste. The service was awesome, I actually felt like someone invited us over for breakfast. I loved the hot chocolate with whipcream and the warm cinnamon rolls, especially for that they weren’t overly sweet just warm, pillowy and delicious. My wife had the breakfast skillet served in an actual skillet, which was loaded with flavor. Prices were really reasonable as well. Definitely give them a try, its worth the drive out.

One of the best breakfasts I’ve in a while. Reasonable prices, friendly waitress and staff. I felt very welcome here. I had the classic breakfast and my eggs over medium, perfect cook! Everything tasted fresh. I chose the biscuit for my bread choice and it was ridiculously awesome! Definitely get one of those, you won’t be disappointed! I will be back every time I’m in Buffalo Gap from now on.

Good lil place to get a bite to eat. There was a 30 minute wait, so we went to the flea market. It was quite good, but spare. One piece of bread with the original breakfast. A really small piece of sourdough. The food was good though. The breakfast burrito was average size. The prices were good for what you got, so we appreciated that. The blueberry muffins in the bakery case, now those were something to talk about. Large and yummy.

We had a wonderful breakfast this morning!! All the food is so fresh and seasonings worked with the food, instead of covering the taste of the fresh fruit and vegetables. Even the fried potatoes were seasoned to perfection. Our waiter Savannah was one of the best we have had since moving to Abilene. She was the sole waiter but took time to interact with us. Her pace was extremely relaxing to me, but she was spot on with refills, extra cream for coffee etc. She made our experience so lovely we may make Monday at Buffalo Gap Cafe a weekly event. This place was less than impressive. We had eaten at Perini’s Steakhouse the prior night, so we thought we would give this a try.
Our eggs weren’t cooked to order. The cowboy potatoes were squishy…even though we ordered them crispy. The bacon was very similar. On the plate was 1 slice of small sourdough toast.
Thougt this was over priced for what was served. I agree with a previous post…I could have gone to Deny’s and had a much better experience.
Ordered a diet coke. I was told it came in a bottle and yes it did! It was an 8 ounce bottle. 8 ounces for $2.00. This place could go get bottles at a $1.00 a piece and sell them for $3.00.
Look at my receipt and then the pricing. The bottle of diet coke (8 ounces) was priced at $2.00 on the menu. On my receipt it was $2.75. Yes, I know it is only .75 cents, but I am finding mistakes like this more frequently and kind of tired of being charged incorrectly.

Fish Stewarding
A wonderful little artisanal spot with a warm and welcoming staff. The coffee was just the right level of robust for me and the sausage skillet was fresh, an excellent serving size and really pretty in presentation.
The omelet was hearty but not heavy and adding the jalapeños brought it over the top for me.
