I have yet to try something that I have not enjoyed. This goes for soups, treats, sandwiches. What they’re doing, they do well.
They serve commonplace coffee, which is a huge plus. It’s the perfect size with window seating and cozy options available to sit and visit.
The humans behind the counter are always welcoming, helpful and patient.. which is exactly what indecisive humans with a thousand solid options need.
If you’re nearby, it’s so worth stopping.
Market Street Pastries was an absolute delight to visit. The shop is so cute and aesthetically pleasing. My iced coffee was made to perfection and costs me only $3 even with a flavor shot! The woman working was so kind and sweet as well. Next time I venture to Blairsville I will be sure to visit again
Support small business!
Bought items to take for dinner andy husband and I were impressed with the flavor
The owners baked 600specielty pastries for our fund raising and the project was most successful.
to respond to the owner – because it seems like you can’t easily reply to a comment on here – my litmus test for coffee shops is often to ask for a cappucino, becuase cappucinos can only be made in one size – equal parts of espresso, steamed and milk froth – so when a coffee shop asks me “small or large” when ordering this, I sort of know their coffee knowledge may be a bit limited. I understand that you all are a bakery not a coffee shop, so it may not be meaningful to invest in that way. however, my rating is reflective of what you all call yourselves, a bakery, so having subpar coffee is not something that would make me not come back. I would just maybe opt for tea instead. I would say if you care to invest more time in coffee, maybe spend a bit more time understanding the sourcing of your coffee, and the methods to make different kinds, because all coffee is not created equally. there sre lots of online companies and platforms to gain more insight here if you don’t already – Sey Coffee and Black and White Coffee are some good starting points. Being able to know where a coffee bean originates from is also important to coffee consumers. again, this is not to sound pretentious or belittling, but I didn’t know much about coffee until a while ago and it truly is it’s own world. a few tips can go a long way, and it had made me respect and understand coffee a bit more.
