Great restaurant. Great food. Very friendly staff. My only complaint is the parking lot is a little rough! I’ve attached pictures of some of the food that we ate. I recommend the biscuits and gravy or The breakfast sandwich. My son enjoyed the short stack. They had coloring books but the food came out so quick my son didn’t even have time to get started.

None of my food was served hot. Room temp or sort of warm. I wonder how safe the food is. Even if the food was hot, it was inedible. Easily the worst country cooking I’ve ever had.

I recently had lunch at Northside Cafe in Tifton, GA, and it turned out to be the answer to my long search for quality country cooking. I ordered the hamburger steak with onions and gravy, paired with greens and green beans, and every bite was delicious. The meal was flavorful and satisfying, exactly the kind of hearty, well-made food I’d been hoping to find. After this experience, I can confidently say my hunt is over—Northside Cafe is now my spot.
They offer a drive-thru for call-ahead orders, which I didn’t know about beforehand and didn’t use this time. I just pulled up, placed my order on the spot, and was impressed by how quickly they prepared it. The service was efficient, and I didn’t have to wait long at all to get my food.
The hamburger steak was tender and smothered in a rich gravy with perfectly cooked onions, while the greens and green beans were fresh and seasoned just right. It all came together as a meal that hit every mark for what I consider great country cooking. Knowing now that they have a call-ahead option, it’s even better—it’ll make future visits that much more convenient for my schedule.
Northside Cafe has earned five stars from me for its tasty food, fast service, and welcoming vibe. I’m thrilled to have found a place in Tifton that delivers on everything I’ve been looking for. I’ll definitely be back.

Truly home cook food. I enjoyed the breakfast very much. Eggs are made perfectly to order bacon was fantastic copies really good. Anyone in the area I definitely recommend giving this place a try you will not be disappointed.

We stopped for lunch, and oh my goodness was I blown away! The staff was wonderful and friendly. Their service was impeccable. The perfect comfort food was to die for! The chicken pot pie was delicious, and the mac & cheese plus fried okra, were just what I had been craving! The coconut cake was mouth watering! I can’t wait to go back!!!

My first time going for lunch and I got a pork chop , Mac and cheese , Lima beans and cornbread fritters and I was extremely disappointed. Everything was bland , the pork chop was extremely tough couldn’t chew and the bread was really over fried and hard , i didn’t get to eat but one bite of each so I’m really disappointed and after paying 13.95 I’m still hungry. They seem to stay busy so maybe i just came on an off day .

Loved the food here!! Traditional no-frills breakfast that was cooked perfectly. Biscuits and gravy were delicious, as were the pancakes and home fries.
Highly recommend taking a short detour away from the interstate food offerings and check this place out.

It’s a nice little spot for breakfast. Cute little family business. They need a new sign or a new way to advertise because we lived down the road for a whole year and didn’t know they were there until I was looking up breakfast places online one day! The grits were great. I didn’t really like the potatoes, they were pretty bland and my yolks where cooked through on my over medium eggs but I didn’t mind too much that morning and I didn’t say anything, I’m sure they would have been ok with fixing it if I had. But I’m rambling I enjoyed it for the most part!
