Pork Chops Plate is magnificent! Seriously that crust even after beig delivered to Richmondwas AMAZING. the mac n cheeseis so creamv and delicious. Chicken Tenders Plate had an amazing flavor and wasn’t dry Ike most Tenders.the greeis just melt in your mouth. Those yams taste like comfort. The portions were amazing. Very fulfilling. Let’s start with the kindness of the lady who took our order. She smiled and was soft spoken. She didn’t get aggravated when I kept adding things while my husband was placing his order. Which I loved. Our food was cooked to order. The chicken and the fish were so piping hot we had to let it cool some ( not all the way cause who wants cold fish or chicken ) it was seasoned to perfection. I love both and these were perfectly seasoned and cooked perfect. The Mac and cheese on my goodness you can’t get better anywhere out. I promise you that you will not be disappointed. Now my husband claims to be a greens expert and he does have the palette of chef. He can taste seasoning that I never heard of and he said the greens can’t be beaten. He loved them so much he sent me back in to buy him a large order to take home. I didn’t get a photo of his food cause he ate every bite. I did get my leftovers in a photo and they will be really good tonight after we return home from revival at church. The cook is an expert no kidding or joking around. She could take on Paula Dean or Bobby Flay and stomp them in the dirt with her cooking. Y’all better go get some of this food before you miss out. Thank you ladies and every time I pass through to a Dr appt or a shopping trip this is my go to for food from now on. Berea needs you ladies to show them what good food is.
BONUS THEIR HEALTH INSPECTION WAS 100 PERCENT!!! You don’t see that much and that means so much to us. I was going in to this place knowing I was about to get my grub on and they did not disappoint.

Went in today for the first time and ordered the double bee plate got greens and Mac and cheese and omg it is amazing. I am so picky when it comes to greens and let me tell you this place got it. I will be back multiple times.

Man, the food here was sooo good. The honey hot chicken was crazy — super crispy and full of flavor, but still juicy. The mac & cheese was creamy and comforting, the collard greens tasted legit homemade, and the cornbread was soft and slightly sweet. You can tell they really care about what they’re cooking. Definitely somewhere I’d go back to.

Family enjoyed their delivery for the most part but they thought the chicken could have been a tad less dry. It wasn’t horribly dry, just a bit. They said it seemed the juiciness that lacked in the chicken seemed to be in the fried mushrooms. They said they still liked the flavor of the chicken. Beside that, they really liked the cornbread, onion rings, fried mushrooms, mac+cheese, mashed potatoes, and greens. They would order again but would hope for slightly less dry chicken next time.

Man I got the chicken and fish combo w Mac&cheese/honey yams! It was elite, no doubt about it. Mac wasn’t dry, chicken and fish both seasoned and cooked to perfection. Only one super small thing, poke vent holes in your to go boxes to keep meat crispier. Honey j’s will always be a go to for a good meal when I don’t want to cook!

Everything was great except I was missing the gravy for the mash I ordered. The chicken was nice and juicy inside and crunchy outside but I feel like it could have a bit of flavor. The Mac and cheese was the star. I’m not a fan of sweet cornbread but it was very moist and not half bad.

Now this place is pick up only, there isn’t anywhere to dine in. The food was great. True Southern comfort foods my family tried the fried chicken and fried pork chops. Also the green beans collard greens and yams. Now if I had to say something it would be the mac and cheese. Simply because I felt the noodles were overcooked and the cheese didn’t bind well with the noodles. It didn’t taste bad but I kind of expected more on that part. Just like the other reviews the cornbread was good and we also had a couple pieces of the cake that were really good as well. Will definitely go back!

Ordered a “catfish sandwich with fries.” There was absolutely nothing special about the fries or the seasoning. The catfish tasted okay but doesn’t catfish always taste okay when fried with a little batter and seasoned? The “sandwich” was 2 pieces of white bread. Soft limp white bread. And a single piece of fried fish in between. When I called the restaurant out of assuming that the sandwich been made incorrectly they assured me that’s how it comes. They said we should have been offered tartar sauce, mustard or other sauces. We were not. We aren’t even mad. We laughed at the audacity of calling it a sandwich and just ate it. I love giving local places terrific reviews. There are so many really amazing places to eat in Lexington, I fear this place won’t last very long if the other food is presented similarly.
