Definitely adding this to our must haves when we are in Arizona. The food was delicious, the service was amazing and the prices were reasonable.
We ordered the guacamole to start.. can you say to die for?? I could stop in just for the guacamole alone.
I ordered a mango margarita which was the perfect blend of flavor and alcohol.
For the main dish we got the green enchiladas and asada fries. Both were so delicious! And huge portion sizes, had to take a to go box!!
If we could give more stars we would!
Can’t wait to come back next time we are in town to try more of the menu!!

I got my oder deliver to my hotel 5 sanora style hotdogs really good food yummy delicious just one thing, I was missing some chile like a jalapeño toreado or pickle or un chile güerito toreado or at least the banana peppers, but I still give them a 5 star.

An open seating restaurant with an open bar. Everything was made fresh upon order. Horchata is everything at that place! My husband had the Ranchero plate, while my Suegra had the red enchiladas and I have the carne asada fries. And a complementary chocoflan for my Suegra’s birthday

I would have never known this place existed until my son and family moved to downtown Tolleson. If I could give them a million stars I would! I took my son as his family to El Pappas today to celebrate a couple of family birthdays. We were a party of 5 with two toddlers. The owner and servers were all soooo very sweet to our whole family! Next came the chips and amazing salsa! Fresh! Tasteful! The menu is compact. But with everything you would want. Homemade everything! The two Carne meals were so delicious and my enchiladas were like nothing I’d had before because of the homade sauce and corn tortillas. Lastly they brought out the best flan brownie! The owner and staff made us feel like family.

The service is a bit slow. There was only one other party seated besides us. It took 20 mins to get 2 orders of tacos. We had 4 orders total. The last plate was served 10 mins after the 1st plates arrived .
The food was ok. I ordered tacos, and the asada was a bit dry. Menudo was good. Carne Asada frys were good. Nice size servings.
Drinks were not refilled. Requested chips that did not arrive until the last plate was served.
Clean bathrooms.

Beautiful place to go and eat. The service we received from Elizabeth was 10 out of 10. Great service and really kind. We had the menudo which was perfect, broth was great and so was the quality. We also got the kids rice and beans which came in a good portion size for just $5. Beautiful experience would recommend to the next person. Going back with family and friends next time.

I love trying new local restaurants, and I’m so glad I stopped by this spot today! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warm and friendly service. The carne asada fries were delicious—you could really taste how fresh everything was. The bárbaro was another standout, especially with their homemade tortillas, which added that extra homemade touch.
The restaurant itself is super clean, with plenty of space for both indoor and outdoor dining, making it a comfortable spot to enjoy a meal. Wishing them all the best—I’ll definitely be back!

Authentic alright!! Such a delicious, homey food! I got the green cheese enchiladas, DELICIOUS! Not only was the food amazing, Adriana was welcoming and very attentive. As a Hispanic woman this is definitely authentic. Going back for the Sonora Hot Dog

We ran into this place and decided to try it. So glad we did it turned out to be great. My husband got the sauced burrito, I did the birria tacos and my son ordered the wings. Mt son couldn’t believe how good the wings are considered it’s a Mexican restaurant the burrito’s was delicious and so was the birria tacos. I had a Paloma that was served w fresh grapefruit juice that really hit the spot. The music was a total vibe and apparently they have karaoke in the evening, Dj and a band. Family is welcomed so we might go back to check it out w the kids. Jackie one of the owners was so nice took the time to chat with us and made sure we were enjoying our experience.
