The store side is excellent, the restaurant has me suspect. Ordered Oxtail entree and curry goat $19.99 and $14.99 plus tax respectively. Was not impressed with the portion for the oxtail price. Mostly bone and small pieces. Additionally, my curry goat was scrapping from the bottom of the pan (I watched it) then warmed up in the microwave which means it was sitting there for sometime. Would have expected more cabbage as well, since it is an inexpensive side. Not saying the food was bad but quantity of the main entree should be addressed. I would fair better buying my own and using the seasonings from the store.

Small Caribbean grocery store – the people that work in this store are from the Caribbean and all very helpful when I asked questions about the food items sold there.
You can get things such as jerk seasonings, fresh Irish moss, soursop, and many other items used in the Caribbean culture.
On the other side of the grocery store , soon as you walk in, is a small restaurant that has meals that are well known in Jamaica.
I stopped in to pick up an oxtail meal plate for dinner. We have had it many times before and it is always great.
The food was good today also. I feel it is one of the best Jamaican places in the Charleston area.
Accessible parking is available .

This is our favorite spot to eat! We absolutely love it! We were so excited to find this place a while back! We come every chance we get! The staff are so polite their food is absolutely amazing it’s a clean environment and the minute you walk in the door you are taken away by the amazing smell of the Jamaican food but wait it doesn’t stop there! It’s a mini mart as well! I was blown away by this place and here we are yet again coming in for the food!

So I’m a little disappointed. I went here because its closer to home. I ordered curry chicken,rice, & cabbage and the jerk chicken peas and rice for someone else. The cabbage was the only thing thay had seasoning on my plate. The curry only had the color and theg didnt give me that much of the curry sauce on my food. The peas and rice had no flavor the jerk chicken was nice because of the sauce. I don’t think I’ll be back. I’ll drive the extra miles for the other location.

Well, what can I say about this store and restaurant. We went there to get dinner. This place was recommended by a friend. We got 2 plates of oxtail, rice and peas, and some cabbage. We barely got any oxtail. The first picture shows the oxtail place for 18 dollars. The third picture shows what we got in two plates of oxtail. We got more bones than anything. The rice and cabbage were okay, nothing to brag about. I was really looking for that rich taste of Jamaica season. I didn’t find it here. Maybe next time.

I used to love this place. But the size of these oxtails cause me to have to find a new authentic place. You get NOTHING but little end pieces. You try to order the double & it’s about $30 just for a few pieces of bones that barely has meat. The flavor isn’t even the same. It’s barely there. And it looks like PLENTY of people have commented on the size of the oxtails and all they say is they’ll take it into consideration. Yall just reply to these reviews then keep moving the same. I’m not coming back.

Ordered an oxtail plate and I wasn’t impressed at all. definitely not what I’m use to from my favorite Jamaican spot. Rice was bland no flavor jumbo peas in the rice. Small portion of ox tails for 24.50 gravy was not flavorful and seemed to have grease or oil in the gravy. The cabbage was pretty decent. I wanted to give them a try because of the good reviews but I guess everyone’s taste is different. Not to mention they didn’t even give me my beef Pattie that I paid for! I’m going to stick to what I know Jamaican grill or Caribbean delight best I’ve had so far!

The customer service provided was unprofessional and rude. I was surprised to hear the staff talking in the background while answering the phone, which made the conversation sound unprofessional. Additionally, their response to a customer’s question about a product was extremely rude. As a result, I will be taking my business elsewhere for the time being.
