There are several options for this type of cuisine in the food court and all of them were giving out samples today and the chicken from this place tasted the best so that’s why I ended up going here. Everything is very fresh and I like that they have options for people cutting cards. There’s a mix of American and Chinese style options and it’s a pretty standard price for a meat and two sides. What really sticks out to me though is how fresh everything tastes. That’s always a concern with buffet style food. But I really like this one and I would definitely eat here again. The ladies at the counter are very friendly and speak at least 3 different languages. Not related to this restaurant but something I like about the small in general and the food court is that they had charging ports.

I’m visiting Orlando, and looking for quality restaurants, whose prices aren’t outrageous. The ladies offering samples weren’t pushy and insistent like other places in the Florida Mall. I had already eaten, but was welcomed inside to look at the menu and inquire about their hours of operation. These ladies had no guarantee that I would return the next day, but I did, and looked forward to doing so! I had sampled the Orange Chicken & Barbecue Chicken, and it was difficult to choose between the 2 options, but either option came with 2 sides for $14.99! The food was delicious, and it was nice to see such a capable staff. The woman were prepping the food, serving it, engaging with customers, and all with a friendly demeanor. You can only tip in CASH, but when I didn’t have any on me – they were understanding. I came back later, intent on tipping $10, and the women were shocked, and insisting that amount was unnecessary. I assured them that it was well deserved, and their appreciation was genuine. Not sure when I’ll be back in Orlando, but this is a place I will definitely look forward to visiting!

Seriously, that place is a gem. The staff there are incredibly friendly, making you feel right at home from the moment you walk in. And the food? Absolutely delicious and worth every bite. I’m already planning my next visit just thinking about it. You’ve gotta try it! ❤️

For absolutely no reason, this lady that works here didn’t like that we took additional sample. She gave me the most burnt sample (looked like the unusable scraps) which is literally like a charcoal. I ALMOST FED IT TO MY DAUGHTER. Whoever you are, you should be ashamed of yourself. I would stay away.

Worst White rice and black beans I’ve ever had in my life. And that’s basically your entire plate. The barbecue chicken was good, but they only give you a very small portion. I paid $21 for rice beans and chicken and a drink. The workers are nice..

This restaurant was in Florida Mall and share sitting with many other. There was few tables available inside the restaurant as well.

Good Barbeque restaurant in the Florida Mall. The Florida Mall has 6 anchor stores, 250 stores and over 1.7 million square feet of space. This makes it one of the largest malls in Florida. It is a very nice mall and seems in my opinion large, clean and upscale compared to most in the area. The Mall has an entire dining pavilion near the center of the stores on the north side of the structure. There are 25 restaurants around a central eating area. The restaurant at the mall entrance part of the dining pavilion is a Barbeque restaurant called Gotcha Smokehouse BBQ. It sports a small entrance with a counter facing the mall and a few seats to the right hand side as you enter the establishment. The staff was very friendly and offered samples as I entered. I sampled the chicken and the beef and decided to order the chicken with my two sides being rice and beans. The chicken and rice was very good. The beans and corn bread were not to my liking. The price was reasonable for the amount of food that I received. Overall, it was a good meal at a good price that I would recommend for people looking for good barbecue in the area.

These other reviews are so wrong, this place has some amazing food, seasoned perfectly, oozing with flavor and gave very generous portions. The beef is so good and the Mac was best I’ve had in a long time. The staff was so sweet, the next I’m in Orlando I’m definitely coming here again.

The quality and the quantity for the food was amazing. Coming from California I was easily expecting the plate of food that I ordered to be around 25+ but it was only 20 dollars. I ordered the chicken and the steak combo and it was absolutely amazing.
