Saturday night my Sister in Law made reservations for the family at Biagio’s restaurant in Newton to celebrate a milestone life event. I ordered a plate of spaghetti with meatballs and Pam wanted the bruschetta, then we finished by sharing a crème brûlée. we had no wait for our table and our server was superb, very attentive and helpful to our group. We were surprised at how quickly our orders arrived at the table after ordering. My spaghetti was absolutely superb, I just loved the marinara sauce as well as those tasty meatballs, hated to see my meal come to an end. Pam let me try a bite of her bruschetta and glad I did, it was off the charts delicious. Pam and I are no strangers to creme brulee but what we had here was award winning, the best we have ever eaten, ever.
Saturday night was indeed a very, very good experience, will be going back soon for sure.

Came for valentines no longer able to have wine/alcohol. Can bring your own, though. Server didn’t know what special was. Used old menu from last year. So disappointed! This was my favorite restaurant. Lettuce for salad was turning. Breadsticks hard. Calamari was yummy.

We were in town from Thursday-Sunday. We ate here twice! Delicious food! Courteous, friendly, and professional staff. The atmosphere is comfortable and feels like places we visited while in Italy. We appreciated the military discount, too! Our server today was J.J., a well-spoken young woman who was attentive without being invasive.

5 STARS! I rarely offer a 5 star review, but I was really impressed with this little gem. The atmosphere was quaint and unassuming, with the typical Italian genre music playing in the background. It was pleasant.
We stopped in during lunch and it wasn’t busy at all. …Which my wife and I came to realize was a genuine Greek tragedy. This place should be packed.
The waitress was brisk and attentive. She and a gentlemen from the back I assumed were cooks or management, both check on the quality of our meal and asked us intently if we were pleased. She helped us with a few questions and we ordered. Bruschetta as an appetizer, fett alfredo for the wife, and I order the Biaggio’s special.
I also had a Peroni, which I appreciated, as they were often found while we spent time in Italy years ago. The bruschetta wasn’t oily or laden with things that sat for periods of time in the fridge. Rather, fresh chopped herbs and more a semi-dry presentation. I really liked it. Heavy on herb and cheese flavor with a departure from tons of oil and garlic. Well done.
My wife remarked immediately that the alfredo was homemade, and it was. It was hinting at separating during the meal, which is a tell tale sign it was brought together recently under heat. It was flavorful and well presented. She loved it. I had a quick taste and it was worth the price of admission and then some.
My dish??? What can I say… I’m a sucker for sun dried tomatoes, Italian sausage, mushrooms, and chicken breasts… Those combined with a semi-red sauce over a linguini was a bit of heaven. There was a shade too much salt for my personal taste, but it didn’t detract from the meal. It truly was a well developed and plated dish.
Now… We hadn’t planned on having any kind of dessert. Who would? It was lunch and we needed to get things done besides a nap, right? Well, we had reason to celebrate, and my wife is a sucker for anything lemon. So, she ordered the limoncello cake. DUDE… So very good. It was poetry on a plate. There was just the right amount of citrus to balance the sweetness of the drizzle. The contrasting flavors were spectacular.
There is no reason this eatery shouldn’t be full all the time. I hope the locals support it and the word gets out. What a great little spot with really appropriate pricing! We’re going back and we’re telling others.
WELL DONE BIAGGIO’S!

We loved these dishes very much. My mother and I both agree that this place is better than Olive Garden and Johnny’s Italian Steakhouse when it comes to both flavor and pasta. First time for either of us to try a cannoli. We will definitely come back.

Absolutely amazing food here. Had garlic cheese bread and mushrooms for an appetizer, a few main dishes and cannoli & tiramisu for dessert to go. Definitely a gem in Newton. Worth the drive from surrounding towns. The service was great. Will be back again.

Biaggio’s is absolutely some of the best Italian food you’ll find! This is a hidden gem in the town of Newton. Every single time we go there Baggio gives us an incredible meal! My wife always gets the manicotti. She says it’s the best she’s ever had & it’s not even close. I’ve got quite a few dishes I absolutely love there but this day I went with the Chicken Calabrese. The mushroom & brandy cream sauce is rich, smooth, & has incredible flavor! The service is always prompt & oftentimes Baggio will walk around talking with the customers to personally check on them & to see how they are enjoying their meal. It’s very important to him that people have a good experience. I definitely recommend visiting!
