We stopped in for lunch and ordered the beef and lamb gyro—absolutely delicious! The meat was tender, juicy, and perfectly seasoned. Portion sizes were generous and the flavors tasted authentic. Service was friendly and fast, and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. Definitely a spot I’ll be coming back to whenever I’m craving a great gyro!

First time stopping in today with a colleague. Small place that packs a flavorful punch. The owner is engaging and super friendly. He made great recommendations. Lamb beef gyro was large and on point, perfect ratios of ingredients. The food was hot and fresh and prepared quickly. Firestix fries were crispy and plentiful, a Mediterranean twist on loaded fries. Will definitely be back to try more things.

Follow up comment….one full year later, same great food and service. A special shout out to Objana, who deftly took care of us in spite of handling phone calls and pick up orders.

Great food, consistent quality and rightly priced….what more would you want?
Wait….there is more!!! Real attentive and quick service that we experienced as dine-in customers for the first time.
Had items picked up previously but was pleasantly surprised at the decent no-frills but nice service and dining experience today (even though this is primarily a take out establishment).
The young lady at the counter served us and ensured that we had a fulfilling dine-in experience. Thank You !!!

Good portion size, fair prices, good service, and the food tastes very good! The tzatziki, feta cheese, and salads have a very nice flavor; not like the overly bitter and sour flavors of so many other so-called ‘authentic’ Greek restaurants I’ve been to. I definitely recommend eating here!

The food was pretty good and would be better for take out. The restaurant is small and with a front and back entrance there was cold air constantly coming through from all the people coming for take out. My wife and I both ordered appetizers and along with our meals. I suspect that not enough people eat in that the server didn’t know enough to put the order in for appetizers a couple minutes before putting in the order for entrees. Entrees and appetizers and appetizers came out at same time and stuff got cold due all the cold air going through.

First time I ordered this neighborhood restaurant, I got Pita Max Pork Gyro, and my daughter had Chicken Gyro Pita, it was delicious and the portions were huge . The meat was very well seasoned. A rare find in this small town for an authentic Greek food. Definitely will order again.

I want to start by saying how grateful I am to have Mediterranean cuisine here in Wanaque. A breath of fresh air aside from fast food, pizza, and Chinese. For 15.95 I got the firestix chicken bowl. It was worth every bit of 15.95 cause the portion was HUGE. My girlfriend got the firestix chicken stick and a side of fries. Her chicken came with pita bread, and I got a Greek salad which was different than what I’m used too but I like a lot of feta cheese on my Greek salads and this had nice chunks. The style was pretty cool. I like what they did with romas old place and the menus are digital. We spent about 40$ but I also ordered more than we could eat to at least try as much as I could for this one visit. Their desert menu is extensive so I’m looking forward to going back and trying that. I’m going to try everything on the menu but I started with just these items. Everyone in town should go support our local businesses and give them a try ps. There’s more parking in the back so don’t be discouraged to pull in if you see it packed out front

I’ve ordered from Firestix Greek grill in Haskell /Wanaque Nj several times. As a vegan, I was excited to see that they advertised a vegan gyro, because it meant I could finally enjoy a Greek-inspired Mediterranean dish without compromising my vegan standards.

I’ve ordered online before and never had a reason to think the meal wasn’t fully vegan — that’s what was advertised. However, when I called today to place another order, I was told that the other ingredients in the dish were not vegan and that I’d need to order them separately. I was honestly shocked and upset.

When I explained my concern, the person on the phone simply said they would “pass it on to the owner.” I want to emphasize how important this is: if you advertise something as vegan, every ingredient must be vegan. For many of us, it’s not just a preference — it’s a matter of health, ethics, and trust, just like labeling food properly for allergens such as nuts.

Restaurants have a responsibility to be accurate and transparent with their labeling. I hope they take this seriously and correct their menu so that no one else is misled or put in a difficult position.

Absolute gem. Travelling from NH trying to find a healthy,gf option close to route was tough. This popped up. Authentic food and really fresh. Hamburger perfectly cooked served with golden fries. I have the Greek burger. Presentation was lovely. Hubby had chicken platter. He is gf so did not indulge in pita but the salad he felt was fab. Chicken grilled and succulent. Bathroom perfect modern ,handtowels and paper abound. Very clean. If you stop by don’t be mislead, there is ample parking at the back . I dont part with stars easily but 5 starsthey definately deserve
