Lao Thai experience with beautiful outdoor seating. I visit here with a friend often and the owner is very friendly to regulars. He has accommodated us even when they are in closing mode. The Pad Thai, Green Curry, and Mossaman Curry are my favorites. Sticky rice is presented in a wicker and plastic container which is very pleasing to eat out of and they will ramp up the spiciness of your meal on request. Always a pleasure eating here.

I swear I was in the Diner from another Era….until I was greeted and served with a smile and efficiency.
Next, A delectable meal came to my table with Traditional Thai Soup (Thom Kar), then a large and bountiful Vietnamese/Thai Crepe with fresh sprouts and veggies oozing out, and thin sliced beef. With the glazed sauce on the side, I was in South East Asian Heaven. Don’t miss this place, it will fill you with goodness!

Went in around the lunch closing time, the staff was friendly and did not act like we were a bother bc they were closing, he was actually very kind and patient, did not rush us. They are suppose to have an authentic cook.

Service is attentive and pleasant. The food is fresh and delicious. I love coconut chicken soup and often order it in Thai restaurants. This one is the most delicious I have tasted. Someone rated it down because of location. The location is just fine and East West Grille is so accessible. Parking is ample.

Place has now been there forever, been coming for years, absolutely the best Thai (Thai/Lao) food in the area. Excellent freshness, flavors, and presentation. Can sometimes be a bit busy but well worth the wait. I tend to end up ordering one of the curry dishes but pad thai, hot hot fisherman, many others all great. Definitely recommend.

I’m in love with this place. It’s my go to for Thai food. The rice and noodle dishes are amazing, and the iced tea is great. Couldn’t say enough about this place. Having been to Thailand I can honestly say that this is the only place around that makes me remotely feel like I’m back in Bangkok. Definitely check it out.

An old School dinner is certainly a unique environment to eat Thai food in but that’s not the only reason to eat at this place. The food is also very good. I believe a lot of their produce is locally grown and if you eat here you will probably be very healthy and add years to your life.

I love this place. Huge menu but everything I’ve had is fantastic. They use lots of fresh ingredients and even some herbs grown in the back of the restaurant. I highly recommend the homemade sausage. Like nothing I’ve every had before. Absolutely delicious!

From the road, it’s a Diner in funky clothes – but park around the back, and as you walk to the entrance it is impossible to not notice the interesting aromas wafting out the back kitchen door… then the sign about video being done used for security. And then – you notice the garden with hot peppers and basil and more.
The prices are very comfortable for a Diner – but this is a Lao-Thai restaurant. And, as you sit down in the booths or at the counter, you see the fabrics and the flowers and the metal foil plants in gold.
I ordered Vietnamese iced coffee, which came first. Strong and sweet. Then tempura, with a crispy batter and a nice sauce for dipping, followed by Lao Tom Yum soup – spicy, complex, singing in harmony with each voice distinct… each ingredient separate and United to provide so much yum.
I met the owner as she walked the tables. They have been here 17 years. She is very cordial and generous. Don’t take advantage of her.
In conclusion, this is definitely NOT a Diner. This is a RESTAURANT.
I came back with my wife to try weekend breakfast. Let me just say that we will not be returning for breakfast – without cataloging my disappointments.

very friendly staff! my card declined I was do embarrassed and also felt horrible that the food had been made and now I was unable to pay. they actually took it upon themselves to give me the food that I ordered and just ask i come back to pay them. it was such a kind gesture and surely made my day much better after work and having my card decline! they are awesome, and surely great to see people who still take pride in their business and customers! the food was also delicious i will not only be back to repay them but will be back to eat again! highly reccomended to come here ☺
