Wow! This has to be the best Chinese restaurant I’ve been to! I have never seen such an extensive menu done so well and with very fair portion sizes. The real highlights for us were their BBQ pork and roast duck, as these quality items are hard to find in our area. And now that we’ve found them, we have to come back for more! With the meal, I also ordered Jasmine tea, and I was delighted to get a whole teapot to enjoy. Their menu has an extensive selection of vegetarian options which I’m also super excited to try. This is a quiet and simply decorated establishment without frills, because the true beauty is the food that will bring you back.

Golden Dragon is hands down the best Chinese restaurant I’ve been to in this state. They predominantly do takeout, but they are equipped for dine in as well which is what we did. As a family run restaurant you see just that, the whole family and that is the sign of a phenomenal meal to come in our experience.
We ordered the Duck Woe Mai Fun, pork combo, egg drop soup chicken teriyaki and a pot of tea. The pork, melts in your mouth. The Woe Mai Fun was rich in hearty flavor, a clean broth and perfectly shredded bites of duck. The chicken teriyaki was marinated and crispy, and honestly could be a meal in itself. Of course the egg drop was great but the stars of the show are what they are known for, Duck and Charsui.
Don’t miss out on this gem of a spot. 5 stars isn’t enough.

My second time coming here from Rock Hill and food is pure magic. I’ve tried the duck, crispy pork rice plate, fried rice and lo mein and they were ALL delicious. Food quality is consistent and they have so many authentic options to choose from. Check ’em out!

This fantastic family run restaurant was a gem to find while traveling through the area for work. The fried rice has a savory, smoky wok hei flavor that you only find in foods that are made by a wok master. My chicken was perfectly crispy but the pork that was in the rice was the protein star. My dumplings were super tasty as well. If I were a local, this would be my regular spot. Not only was the food great, but the restaurant has great retro vibes and the family who owns it is super kind.

I want to like this place but I feel their head isn’t in the game anymore. Atmosphere is someones livingroom(1/2 dining area is closed off and a childs play area). They use to carry roasted duck but no longer (tried 5x over 6months) Last week I called 4x no answer so I made the trip only to find out their phone was off at 645 on a Friday! I normally dont give such low reviews especially a family run business but I truely think there is something else going on here. Is this a tax write off or something? Who opens a restaurant and doesn’t serve food? I would take pictures of food but i have left there 5x frustrated empty handed. Photos are from almost 3yrs ago(last time i had duck)

We got half scallion chicken, whole duck, beef noodle soup, eggplant.
All of it was delicious and juicy!
They do give you a heads up, with the duck and whole/chicken it doesn’t come out hot but they were amazing.
The beef and noodle soup was a rich delicious soup. Relative to the other dishes the beef and noodle and the eggplant had a nice kick in the back of the throat but nothing crazy at all.
The staff is very nice, the service was good/fast. It’s def a gem if you’re looking for a good Chinese meal and haven’t tried it yet!

Very surprised how great the food at this restaurant was. The outside of the restaurant wasn’t very impressive but the food was def worth it. I especially love the crispy roasted duck because the flavor was great and the skin was very crispy. It was def worth the 9hrs drive from Philly. The crispy roasted pork was also good. The server was very polite. The portion of the food was reasonable. I wish i can go there again before i leave tomorrow but unfortunately i think i have to leave before they open. I will definitely recommend to friends and family.

The food is AUTHENTIC as you could expect CANTONESE food to be. Delicious, savory, flavorful, succulent, downright finger-licking. That’s a fair trade-off for the service and ambiance / atmosphere. 5 star prepared food, absolutely!
