Food: we were looking for a quick bite and found this place. Surprisingly, the pasta and seafood are fresh and the sauce is pretty good. The gelato was okay. The portion is pretty good for the price.

Service: the staff were very welcoming and helpful. However, he gave us a feeling of rushing everything…from orders to desserts and getting the bill.

Ambiance: there was basically no one on the weekends and we sat down in the patio area. It was not too shabby and quiet to have some nice conversations.

Went there for lunch to celebrate a milestone wedding anniversary. We hadn’t been in more than a year and forgot how awesome their cuisine is. Started with Spritz, Arancini which were the perfect size and flavor, and fried calamari and prawns. Arancini was equal to the ones I became addicted to in Palermo. Red dipping sauce was exceptional. The Paccheri with squid ink ragu was a top 5 seafood pasta I have had.. More than deserves the 4.7 rating in Google. Will be going back more often. Caution: their portions are generous.

Had the carbonara, unfortunately it did not hit the mark from me. Could have had more pepper, it seemed like bacon instead of guanchale and the parmasan grated on top was from a box. Did not get offered fresh black pepper to put on top.

Really fabulous food! I’m kind of like Johnny Depp in Once Upon a Time in Mexico, except I always order eggplant parmigiana (not cochinita pibil) as my measure of how good a place is. Excellent! They do something to the eggplant that kind of carmelizes it and the sauce is 100% fabulous. So, this eggplant was truly incredible; however, I didn’t have to go eliminate the chef as Johnny Depp would have (to restore balance to the country).

The family that owns La Placa Family bakery in Ben Lomand has partnered to open this cozy new restaurant and we’re glad they did. The food is fantastic. A combo of Sicilian and Genovese flavors. The real deal. We live half the year in Southern Italy and are spoiled by the quality of food there. This measures up and is excellent value for the money. Started splitting the Gustosa salad. Greens, bacon, pecans (normally walnuts), cranberries with a raspberry vinegar dressing. Irina had the salmon and I had a huge piece of sword fish. Finished off with a raspberry eclair that was heavenly.

I went with my friends. I ordered a Parmigiana that was terrible. The eggplants were nonexistent, completely dissolved, and the sauce was not at all reduced. The salmon gnocchi cost $30 with hardly any salmon, and the gnocchi tasted like flour. The Amatriciana was very expensive and had almost no guanciale. On top of that, $4 for 4 slices of bread. To top it off, the atmosphere was super depressing
To finish a had stomachache the next day

Went here for my anniversary and was greatly disappointed. Kitchen lost our order so we waited 45+ minutes. Vibe is tacky and depressing. AI looking art work on the walls and cheesy etsy signs everywhere. Weird music playing on a bluetooth speaker. Servers were awkward.

Arancini was still frozen on the inside. Egg plant parmesan was drowned in bland tomato sauce. Gnocchi had no flavor as well.

Not sure why Bedda Mia is rated 4.6

Everything was very good, especially the arancini, of which there were 3 variations. The white wine, sage and butter sauce on the short rib ravioli with speck was also quite tasty. A family run affair. Will definitely be coming back.

We went to Bedda Mia on the east side for a late afternoon lunch. Overall, we don’t regret giving them a try. The staff, though slow, were all incredibly friendly and kind. Both of our entrees were delicious. But unfortunately our appetizer was a disappointment and the corrugated plastic roofing over their outdoor seating area was so hot it was like eating in a greenhouse.

We started with the calamari and crab cake appetizer. The calamari was lightly breaded (which we love) but unfortunately extremely salty. We couldn’t finish it. The crab cakes were quite overcooked, dry and not very flavorful.

My bf ordered the fettuccine with fish ragu . It had an abundance of mussels, clams, salmon and calamari. He loved it. The seafood was cooked perfectly and the fettuccine was wonderful.

I ordered the mushroom risotto. I’m a huge mushroom lover and this risotto did not disappoint, full of porcini and cremini mushrooms. This is hands down the best risotto I have ever eaten!

We will definitely go back. However, we will sit inside on our next visit and skip the calamari and crab cakes.
