From the name to the menu to the friendly staff, Butter Milks truly deserves the praise. The menu is packed with America’s favorite comfort foods, and everything feels thoughtfully done. Kudos to the owner and chef. This place is exceptional.
I’m not usually a biscuit fan, but once I explained what I was looking for, the staff member happily swapped the biscuit for a bun without hesitation. That kind of flexibility and customer care makes all the difference. And the presentation was stellar!

I only had coffee. I stopped by to see how others reacted to their service. I took a picture just before others came in. The waitress was very prompt and polite with each of us. The food looked pretty good and the others seemed satisfied. As for me, my coffee was good and I was asked for a refill a couple of times. I picked this place so I could plan my route from here. It’s located on a corner lot with easy access back on the hwy.

This place is so wonderful, it is a must try! The food is made fresh, the coffee and sweet tea were great, but the waitstaff and atmosphere was what stood out the most. It is a very laid back and comfortable place. I believe they may be known for their delicious fish and grits. We did not have that, but drooled on the neighbor tables’ portion. Everything was delicious! A very small critique were the home fries, they should have been made to order, flavorful…but a little dark. All in all a great place, a must try.

This place has some GREAT FOOD. We tried the Loaded Deviled Eggs, shrimp and grits and the chicken and waffles. Everything was PERFECT. We can’t wait to go back and get other stuff off the menu. Our first time stopping here did not disappoint. The waitress was very friendly and prompt with drink refills. The menu was extensive, offering several different meats and various sides. We ordered a pulled pork sandwich and the shrimp and grits. Both were delicious! The pork was tender and with a nice smoke. The shrimp and grits was very tasty. The shrimp were big and cooked perfectly.
We will definitely return and look forward to trying their breakfast menu next time.

The food was great and everything on the menu looked amazing. It’s a shame I’m only passing through, but if I’m ever back in this area again I’ll be sure to come back to Buttermilk’s. The staff were super friendly.

I don’t like leaving negative reviews for small businesses but I am very disappointed in the food I received tonight. My wife and I ordered to-go Friday night for dinner. With those prices and that menu I expected more than cheap, instant/frozen food and shortcuts. Part of our order was missing and the food was such poor quality. Paid $40 for small portions of instant mashed potatoes, frozen fries and patties. $10 for 4 “pimento cheese” bites which was pretty much all breading and barely any pimento cheese.
