This place is a hidden gem. The atmosphere made me feel like I was at home. There were a group of patrons at the bar who spoke to us when we entered letting me know this was neighborhood and friendly place. Carrie the bartender/waitress was absolutely amazing. The menu had an array of different seafood dishes. I got a large size of crab legs that were so fresh, my husband got the crab bites, fried fish, and carrot cake also absolutely delicious. The price was very affordable with our order and drinks and a couple of take out items that we wanted to take home to try that definitely makes this place a return visit. Even if not to eat but to enjoy happy hour with the friendly people of the 152.

Our 2nd time going to 152 Public House. It was a Saturday evening and it was kind of empty. Service was good. Food was good but pricey. The Prime Rib Sandwich was good but cost $17.42 and does not come with chips or fries. Not sure it’s worth that price. Best value on the menu were the buffalo wings. They were cooked well and were tasty. Beer was reasonably priced. However, Wine was not at $9.88 for a small glass.
One major issue is that there is a hidden 4% service / credit card charge added to every item on the bill and that is before PA Sales Tax is added. The bill does not state the fee is buried in the price of each item. (See picture of bill below.) I paid cash and was not informed the bill had a hidden credit card fee on it. It’s disingenuous. I did not notice the credit card fee until after I got home. The fee equalled over $5 on my bill.

Great addition to the fork at North Hills. Big menu with great seafood options and more for those who might want a burger. Full bar and excellent staff. Colette took great care of us and was hustling all night to make sure everyone got fast, friendly service. Looking forward to coming back!
