Our locally owned, family operated business is happy to announce the opening of our new storefront located at City Square Shopping Center in Kalihi, (1199 Dillingham Blvd, Ste. C108). Over the course of 30+ years, we helped raise millions of dollars for thousands of different community organizations through our weekend chicken fundraisers. Now we are happy to be able to bring you the delicious taste of Koala Moa style rotisserie chicken all week long! We also have other delicious menu items like Lemongrass Baby Back Ribs, salads, and numerous sides! We are so very grateful for your support and patronage over the years and hope to see you at our new storefront soon!

I placed an order of mini plate with rice and macaroni as two options and “WOW” it was good. The 1/4 lb rotisserie chicken was completely juicy and seasoned just enough to be eaten with a rice. The macaroni salad was also seasoned just enough to be good alone and also with rice. The food was really like a very healthy food. The food was seasoned just enough, perfect, and not too much. Moreover, the workers here are so helpful and friendly. I do highly recommend this place.

We came here almost closing time. The chicken was not fresh anymore that it got dried and salty. But was still good especially on the leg parts and wing parts where it had fats that they are still moist and juicy.

The huli chicken seams like its been made a day ahead and the just grilled the chicken fast kine. I actually like it cause the skin was crispy. The chicken dry i wish they gave a hulihuli sauce with the plate. I had a large plate with toss salad corn and brown rice the toss salad fresh but I dont like the dressing it sour mayb I should have got in on the side. But over all the food was good

1. We ordered the Jumbo Plate, asked for it chopped. We went there for the convenience. It’s not a convenience to get home and find it not chopped. Oh and the kicker not that much juice nowadays like before when it was closer to Hilo Hattie’s.
2. Wife said everything except the rice when asked what sides she wanted. The worker didn’t understand so she had to say corn tossed salad, and mac salad. We didn’t want rice because we get rice at home. Would you like to guess what had in the plate when we got home? Rice, tossed salad and corn.
Also if you want people to tell you what the receipt says then don’t sandwich it between the takeout plate and the bag of chicken because the grease going erase everything on the receipt.
Bottomline the food and service was way better when it was at the other location.

First time trying Hulu Hulu chicken. We ate our portion in the restaurant and ordered one to go.

Great grilled chicken and pork ribs. Both are very well seasoned even inside and we didn’t need sauce(they don’t serve sauce anyway) but for some people, they might be a bit too salty. Especially chicken was very juicy inside and nicely crispy outside. Very friendly staff members. You can eat in and they have outside seating area too.

Was driving down Waimanalo side one day on the way to Sherwoods. Turned in, saw the food trucks, nice. Slammed the brakes and did a 180 when I saw the Koala Moa truck. Hard workers ( I used to work with one of them ), simple setup, and fantabulous onolicious chicken. I forgot how much it was but we got the quarters which I remember were priced pretty cheap. Moist and tasty as always. If you come across them, don’t get into an accident getting there. ✌
