Wonderful hole-in-the-wall Mexican food place. Very authentic. Really good prices. The food was excellent. The chips and salsa were terrific. As said by another reviewer, great guacamole. Best I’ve had. Fast and friendly service on a weekday afternoon.
They had the biggest chimichanga I’ve ever seen. And we get a lot of them at various places we’ve tried. My son could barely finish his, which is saying a lot. My daughter got the tacos. She loved the carnitas. I got the fajitas off the dinner menu. Wonderful steak fajitas. Plenty of food. Unique marinade for the steak. It was really good.
We’ll definitely be back and I’m kind of sorry I didn’t stop in sooner.

I’m amazed by how much good Mexican food we have in the Twin Cities – I’ve heard people say, “eh, the Cities don’t have any good Mexican food.” These people obviously haven’t ventured to some of the places that have it – such as Cuco’s. It’s in a nondescript strip mall in Columbia Heights, you could drive down NE 37th or Stinson without noticing it.
I had the grilled chicken taco combo. The tacos were perfect – best I’ve had so far. The medium tomatillo salsa was the perfect spice level with rich flavor. You also get free chips and house salsa – all of this for less than $12.00! The owner was so very nice and helpful. I can’t wait to come back, even though it’s not very close to where I live.
You owe it to yourself to check out this place if you like great Mexican food. It’s a real gem.

While in the neighbor,I seen this Mexican Restaurant, typically I do not even consider Mexican food,simple fact i was ignorant to they just serve Tacos, boy was i wrong,I requested the Fried fish and it was AMAZING!!,it came with Beans with a cheese on top,yellow rice and a Beautiful garnish salad with fruit.i may request again tonigh.Friendly Staff,clean,and they even decorated for Valantine day.If you’re in the area or want to travel to this place Go try it out.

Good place to find some cheap authentic Mexican tacos. The employees are friendly and very helpful. The tacos themselves were a little oily compared to most corn tacos I’ve had (maybe it’s the grill) but were very soft and still tasted good. Remember to bring cash if you want to spend less than $5 there.

Excellent food! My friend and I both ordered the three tacos special. One can choose from several meats, we chose carnitas. Beautiful warm tortillas were loaded with good ingredients. It is served with rice and refried beans, both absolutely wonderful.

The service and food here were excellent! It’s a smaller restaurant but the food was fantastic. Chips and salsa were yummy. I got the taco salad (the steak was delicious!) and my boyfriend devoured his tacos. We’ll be back for sure.
