The food was ok. Nothing special at all. Idk what all these tik toks and reviews are talking about. I waited an hour for my food which is OK. I understand they are busy. The price is outrageous, $40 for 4 shrimp, and peices of sirloin steak and chicken. %100 not worth it. If the price was even $20 it would have been too much but the review would have been way higher. Probably 5 stars. I know they have a following and that may be why people rate it so high. But I have been to 1000’s of restaurants. Alot of them way cheaper with much better food. A try it once place and never again. The price just isn’t justified.

WORTH THE HYPE BUT BREAK THE BANK

I recently visited the city and was interested in trying new food. I love TikTok so as a referral from there they said this is worth a a try no matter who u are local or outside. We got there as soon as they opened unfortunately the inside of the building wasn’t open so I don’t have any pictures but let me tell you the food never disappoint. When we got there before they opened they already had people parked waiting and no the food won’t take 5 minutes to make. This food is made out love and you can tell when you get it. They do have a wait while waiting you can sit in the bleachers they have. I have to be honest and you pay extra for the sauce. I gave this place 4 START because not everyone can afford to eat here $30 and plus a small plate is really not really worth it all the time. Let me say also the neighborhood of the location was not the best so keep that in mind when you decide to go here. The place it self is near the road side however I wouldn’t recommend staying around that area. For two plates we paid around $70 dollars and I wouldn’t mind paying it again if I ever visited again

The wait was quite long but the food is cooked to order and was absolutely amazing. The Boss Bachi is top notch and adding lobster to the Chicken and Shrimp elevates the plate. Definitely worth the money. I suggest getting extra garlic butter and yum yum sauce for the leftovers!

I did overhear that you can call in orders and I will try to do so my next visit to avoid the wait.

I got welcomed to the hood and was not disappointed. This food blew my mind after eating here yesterday. I got the chicken dinner and my friend got the salmon but next time I’ll be going back for the steak. This food was to damn good to not go back. I’ll make the trip from the suburbs here any day of the week. Customer service was through the roof as well, even when their system was down they still took our order through cash app and just have the best attitudes I’ve ever seen on a food truck or restaurant! Don’t you dare forget the butter, kool-aid or the yum-yum sauce because the combo just adds to the experience!

We had to see what the hype was all about, so we tried it today. We arrived at 12:05p (hours of operation are 12p-8p) and were told they would be open at 12:30 They already had a line of cars waiting for them to open, which excited me. I ordered the Boss Bachi (see menu), and my spouse ordered the Hood Bachi trio, and we added 2 yum yum sauces, which are sold separately for $1 each. There were about 6 orders before us, so we were told 40 minutes At the 40-minute mark (and after seeing ALL of the orders before mine were called, I went up to the truck. I over hear that they don’t have lobster (someone attempted to order it), and I think maybe they ran out AFTER my order. I inquired, and I’m told they don’t have lobster So the cook looks at me (THE SAME GUY THAT TOOK MY ORDER) and says that he’s going to put “extra” of the other meats in 90 minutes later (and about 5 people AFTER ME getting their food) we get our food and head home. Yes, the food was super hot, well seasoned, well portioned, and tasty. However, communication and time inaccuracy make this a one and done for me✌

As much as I hate to give bad reviews, I have to be honest about my personal experience. This was my first time trying this place and was excited to be doing so. The food truck looks nice. The service is neither good or bad it’s just mediocre service. The wait time is utterly ridiculous!!! I waited an hour. The price would be sufficient if the food wasn’t so terrible. They encourage the upsell of all those sauces to distract you from the tasteless hibachi. Is that even chicken that’s being served??? It was a very weird texture and look to it at least what I got. Not a mushroom in sight! Veggies soggy and overcooked. Just bad! I wish it was better but unfortunately not. Also why are we paying an extra $3 to cash app?

Food is GREAT, FRESH and the young lady who took my order (Najah) was awesome and very personable. I was just visiting Detroit and decided to try it out. Definitely better than some other bigger name restaurants. They also had a very clean eating area if you decide to eat there with a bon fire at night, weather permitting. Thanks for the great experience and food. If I make it back to the “D”, I’ll definitely stop by.

So after seeing all the reviews on IG about this place my girls and I had to check ot out. We were not disappointed at all. It was so good. We got two combos. One chicken and shrimp and then one steak. Chicken and shrimp. That was enough food for like four people. Buy ot was soooo good. We got garlic butter sauce. Bit we definitely will be going back to try the salmon and the yum yum sauce. 10/10 for me. I couldn’t really rate the atmosphere because It didn’t really have one. But the customer service was good.

Pulled up them as the online ordering was turned off and door dash listed as unavailable. The food was good and cooked to order. The wait wasn’t too bad. I ordered the shrimp and chicken combo, and the portion size was lovely along with the garlic butter it was hitting. I forgot to put my teri hooos yum yum sauce on it but, it’s worth coming back to try the trio one day.
