Just Meh…..
Either one of two things happened, they changed the recipe since I had it several years ago or my taste buds have changed because it’s not as good as I remember it being. Now don’t get me wrong, the liquid gold fat sauce they give you to dip the pizza in does make it taste way better, but I can’t help thinking something is different about it. Maybe I ordered the wrong style?

I’ve had pizza from here for 8 years now and it’s usually pretty good for when you don’t want to pay an arm and a leg to buy local.
That being said, there has been the occasional issue with no delivery drivers over the past few months. I understand that’s a problem for many places right now, but things seem to have escalated when I made an online order for pickup yesterday and even though the app was updating the order as being in the oven and counting down the time until it would be prepared, I received a message that the store wasn’t actually open yet. This was 11:40 am on a Wednesday.
The last thing I’ll mention is that the sign you can see in the attached photo was up in the store at the cash register. I was appalled and disgusted by it.

I called to order asked for my wings to b fried hard. She said ok. I got these soak n wet wings. I called he said the wings are baked and was rude so I asked for my money back he said no I asked for a credit he said no. They have a call center in India answering their calls and they’re not affiliate with papa johns so be careful when ordering they don’t care

Not sure what’s going on with this place or why I keep ordering. Twice, about a year ago, I ordered from this location and the same Doordash driver ignored the no-contact instructions, called me incessantly, argued with my instructions to leave the order on the porch, and kept ringing my doorbell. When I opened the door he changed his neck to look around me and tried to walk in my house. I’m a pretty big dude, I’m not sure what he was after, but I told him to get off my property. I didn’t fault the restaurant, it wasn’t their driver. I did stop ordering for a bit.
When I started trying then again, a guy who was definitely their employee delivered to the same wrong house twice and a different wrong house once. He was generally very apologetic and quick to fix it so I moved passed it. It did cause some strained interactions with people in my street though.
Yesterday I left for worked from 4am-7:30pm, only had a breakfast sandwich at 7am. Was starving and exhausted on my way home so I ordered from this location. My order was marked delivering after <15mins. Another 1hr 15mins later, still no delivery. I live 0.9mi from the restaurant on a main Street. It's 3 roads. I called in and explained that I'd had them deliver to the wrong house before and never mark it complete, so I was just checking the status. They lady who answered was very helpful, she said her system showed complete and seemed confused by that, as was I. I sat on the phone for another 12 mins while she tried multiple times to call her driver with no answer. She offered to remake the food immediately but I had no confidence it would get to me and at this point I'm 14hrs without food and ready to go to bed. I said thanks, but I'd rather just get a refund and sort something else out. She obliged. I was concerned this driver had gotten in an accident or nodded out or something on the way over. I drove the route to the restaurant on my way to McDonalds to make sure the dude wasn't wrecked or something, but didn't see anyone.
♂️ Hopefully he made it home to his family with some food, idk. Hoping the best for these people, something seems off. But I probably won’t be attempting this again any time soon.

Be careful of the raw breadsticks. But don’t worry… if you call and tell them about it, “Bob” will laugh at you and refuse to give a refund or remake them.
