As someone who grew up in Malaysia and really misses the Chinese food there, the flavors here felt incredibly nostalgic. It’s rare to find a spot that captures that kind of authenticity. When I walked in the interior was very nice. All of the employees are super helpful! The food was good, I had edamame, taro tea, and shrimp dumplings. I definitely recommend all of the food! Overall it was a great experience and we would come back again.

We came here for the duck. It was perfectly cooked—crispy skin, tender and juicy meat, and the sauce complemented it beautifully without overpowering the flavor. I was dining with my son. and after his first bite he said, “This is the best duck I’ve ever had.” That pretty much says it all.

We were in the cool springs area, did a google maps search for restaurants, and this hot pot restaurant popped up. I had only ever had hot pot one time in denver some years ago. My wife had never been to a hot pot, so we decided to go in. Olive, our server, took the time to explain to us how the whole thing worked. We were concerned.We wouldn’t know what to do, but she put our fears at ease and got us right into the swing of things. I got a pork bone broth, and my wife got a beef broth as our bases. We added a few vegetables, a variety of meats and went up to the saucebar to make our own sauces. The experience was wonderful, and I absolutely recommend you come give this a try. If you’ve never been to a hot pot, just walk in and tell him you’re a newbie. And they will help you get through it, make you feel at ease, and I promise you you will not go away hungry.

All 3 of us, ages 10-39, loved our food and lunch hot pot experience! We let our server, Liz, know that it was our first time, and she walked us through the process in detail. She also brought us a sauce that she made, and we all loved it. We each had a different broth (spicy, beef, and pork bone), all were delicious. We had several different protein and veggie inclusions, all the ingredients were fresh & tasty. We highly recommend Beijing Hotpot and can’t wait to be back to try more options ourselves.
