Very disappointing experience. The chicken samosa was awful, the biryani tasted stale after just one bite, and the onion bhaji was extremely oily and completely cold—total waste of money. A few items were just okay, but overall the food quality was very poor.

After our normal Indian takeaway disappointing us a few times we decided to try somewhere new. We were blown away with how great the food was! I wish we had tried here sooner. We had a chicken korma, lamb North Indian and some rice/naans, all were cooked extremely well and super yummy. Will definitely be making this our new go to!

Excellent, well priced food served by very pleasant and friendly staff. We made an unplanned visit on a Tuesday evening and we’re able to take advantage of the Tuesday Special menu, which was both delicious and a bargain (with lots of available options). We’ll definitely be back. The breakfast menu looks great too.

We’ve been customers of Sylhet since it opened as a small takeaway 25ish years ago.
Our takeaway last night was delivered piping hot and the food really was exceptional. It’s rarely been anything but over the years.

Sorry for taking so long to leave you guys a review. When i am in ely i always make sure i got to this restaurant before i leave. Staff are friendly and food is very pleasant. It also helps as its quite close to Rowleys fine art auction house where i visit once in a while. A very good recommendation.

Can not fault this place. Been around since I was younger and had take aways as a teen and go for meals here recently as an adult, with friends and family. Staff are attentive and friendly. Nice and quite and the food.. never faltered in all the years I’ve been eating here. If you love a curry you’ll love a nice evening meal here for sure.
