I love this place so much! The food is always a 10 ! I usually get the tacos de tripa dorada and fajita sopes. I went on a Monday morning and got some menudo and it was delicious! They also give you homemade corn tortillas on the side My husband likes to get the gorditas and sopes de tinga and fajita. When we last went he tried chilaquiles rojos and those were good too. A restaurant so nice – our team ate there thrice! The portion sizes were on point. The meals were tasty and the service was top-notch. Highly recommend stopping in to grab a gordita or taco!

The menudo was hot, with lots of flavor and full of tripe and hominy. The tortillas were fresh and fantastic! Carne asada tacos were ok, but the meat had a weird seasoning that I am not used to, but still good. The only true disappointment was the Horchata. It was really, really sweet and had no flavor. Pretty much tasted like watered down milk with a ton of sugar and a splash of cinnamon. Bleeeeeccch!!

Initially I gave this place a 5 Stars, when I ate here….i even recommended it to people. With that being said DO NOT get food TO GO. Just eat there if anything. Cause now I feel like they are playing with people. Reviews go a long way. Do Not Do This to people who Genuinely support your “small business”.

Modest place, but the food is good and the a/c is cool. I would much rather have this delicious plate of food for $8.75 than a combo meal at a drive-thru somewhere. Seasonings were just right and our order was ready within 5 mins. Chicken enchiladas pictured.

OMG this is the best Mexican food in Midlothian. If you haven’t tried it, you need to soon. They have a special most days, (my favorite are the chicken enchiladas) and it happens to be the Monday Special. My family and I have been eating here regularly ever since we discovered this place. It’s where the steak and shake used to be located.
Their green hot sauce is excellent, the breakfast burritos are all great, and I just discovered yesterday, that their crunchy tacos are super delicious (they fried the taco shells yum!) Oh they also have the best burgers, and they sell churros too. Go check them out for yourself, you won’t regret it.
