Great restaurant with nice Ambience and suitable for private events. It is quite and spacious for small to big groups. The food quality is great though we had limited options for Vegetarian.. There are plenty of parking outside of the restaurant and it is located across the beautiful park where kids can play as well along with eating out.

The staff is helpful and courteous. It is beautifully decorated specially now for Christmas which is irresistible for taking photos. I feel the food is little pricey but the Restaurant ambience and location justifies the pricing.

We came in for a nice Friday lunch and we were so pleasantly surprised! Pierre took such great care of us! He had excellent suggestions on different dishes and we ended up getting the meatball appetizer and funghi pizza (everything with mushrooms is a yes from me)!! We also got the Turkey club and the presentation was amazing and ooh the perfectly crispy fries were ‍

We will for sure be back! Thank you Pierre!!

If you are looking for a spot that knows how to do drinks and appetizers right, Palato absolutely delivers.

The vibe is lively, social, and energetic. This is not a quiet sit in the corner kind of place. It is perfect for catching up with friends, starting the night with cocktails, or just enjoying a fun atmosphere without feeling rushed.

Excellent Italian food inside the new hotel. Normally I would not eat at hotel restaurant but this was a great experience. Edna our server and the bartender Lonnie were great! Food was incredible as we had the pasta dishes and meatballs appetizer. The drinks were also excellent!

We absolutely love Hall Park Hotel and have stayed here multiple times. After previously staying at a different lovely hotel in downtown Dallas, we tried Hall Park once and loved it so much that we booked it again specifically for Valentine’s Day weekend.

We’ve also dined at Palato before and had a great experience, which is why we were really looking forward to our Valentine’s Day dinner. Our server was kind and attentive, and the food itself was good. Unfortunately, the way the evening ended completely changed the experience.

Before we had even finished our dinner, all of the lights were turned fully on and the restaurant began closing down around us. While we understand closing at a certain time, doing this while the last table is still dining felt rushed and harsh, especially on Valentine’s Day. It made us feel like, because we were the last table, our experience no longer mattered.

We didn’t even feel comfortable finishing our meal, and since we were staying at the hotel with no way to store leftovers, boxing it up wasn’t really an option. After spending over $150 on a Valentine’s Day dinner we were genuinely excited about, it was disappointing to leave feeling pushed out instead of enjoying the moment.

We still love the hotel and have had positive experiences here in the past, which is why this stood out so much. I hope this feedback helps, especially for special occasions where guests are expecting a more thoughtful and relaxed dining experience.

We came here for a birthday celebration- it wasn’t the fancy brunch we hoped for. Open dining room and we were seated right by others, like right by them. Offered another table by hostess but it was dirty. It stayed dirty, a spoon laid on the ground by the table our whole meal just being stepped over. Asked for one coffee and one fresh squeezed juice – got two juices and no coffee. ($9 per juice.) Every time water was poured the pitcher dripped all over table and plates. We don’t mind ice cold tap water but the water had a pungent odor, let the server know and they said that’s just how the tap water is. Coffee eventually came out with no sugar or creamer till much later. Ordered mushroom quiche, lobster Benny and a muffin. Food looks much better than it tastes. They wouldn’t do a half order of the cinnamon toast pancakes (understandable, just a bummer) Muffin was dry. Had to ask for coffee refill- rarely checked on. Wasn’t busy at all & plenty of staff nearly 1:1 ratio of staff to guests. Lobster Benny needed to be seasoned very flavorless, lobster was chewy tasted more like crawfish than lobster. Potatoes looked like frozen bag potatoes. Mushroom quiche were better still needed more seasoning, little pepper or something. They knew it was a birthday celebration as that was on our reservation- no mention of this besides from the hostess. This was something we were looking forward to from an article rating it #8 restaurant in the state. Beginning to think I may have been taken in by an ad disguised as an article. It was a beautiful hotel restaurant with a mid hotel breakfast for nearly $100 for two people.

Fantastic!! The BEST rigatoni I have ever had, truly. The tomato sugo makes a huge difference in the quality of the meal and truly makes this meal unique from other italian spots.

Our waiter was extremely kind, along with the rest of the staff. Both managers were very attentive and ensured a pleasant experience, especially Carl!

The menu is short and sweet, but you can be sure you’ll get a great quality meal out of it!

The food truck nearby is open F-Sun from 11am-7pm for some more causal bites as well.

The place is very tidy, clean, and stylish. I’ll definitely be coming back!!

this spot is great for drinks, appetizers & a fun brunch – but I wouldn’t come here for a full meal.

we ordered 2 steaks with roasted potatoes, parmesan fries, and garlic pesto bread. they were very accommodating with our mocktail orders.

the bread was amazing 10/10, as were the fries. the flavors on the steak were wonderful, but it was full of cartilage. i spent most of the meal cutting out giant pieces of cartilage. also – we had asked for medium well and received medium/medium-rare.

service was amazing as was atmosphere. they offer free valet services as well.

i’ll be returning for drinks & apps but definitely not more than that.

The ambience was beautiful. My server was great. He held a great conversation and was very knowledgeable about the menu. The menu lacked different traditional mixed drinks and boasted many spritz and narrow a selection of beers. The bread was to die for the vinegar and oil was so good the ricotta pasta Definitely needs more cheese, but you can ask for ricotta on the side to add yourself but besides that it’s dry and I would not eat alone without this modification. The cannoli was also a good try

Palato is a great breakfast option for guests staying at the HALL Park Hotel. The Belgian Waffle with warm maple syrup was delicious and the bacon was cooked to perfection. Their cold pressed orange juice was also really good.

Service was good and the ambience of the restaurant is amazing. The decor was modern and elegant with nice tones, and the tableware brought the design together nicely. Overall 9.5/10!
