Usually don’t eat banh mi because the bread tends to make top & bottom of my mouth tender… but this is the best banh mi I’ve tried, the bread was crispy but not hard enough to make my mouth sore. We got roasted pork and lemon grass chicken, they were both good. We sat inside when we first came and left with good impression. Got takeout the second time, it was good but there was a thin strand of hair on the bottom of the sandwich upon unwrapping it. Couldn’t bring it back in for another since we were eating it in kapolei. The sandwiches are excellent if you don’t mind the hair ♀️

I am not a banh mi expert by any means, but this is the best banh mi I have ever had. The crunch of the bread and everything in between was a symphony of different flavors and textures. Food was made to order and not too much wait. There were 2 tables inside and a few more outside. This is definitely a go to for banh mi sandwich and I dont generously give 5 stars and this one was worth it.

One of the best banh mi’s we’ve had. This place is way better than all of the viral spots you’ll see on TikTok. The bread is crunchy and soft and doesn’t tear up your mouth. The meat and fillings are fresh and so tasty. Best of all it’s not like one of those behemoth sandwiches. Great place to eat before you go Ala Moana.

This Banh Mi shop is one of my favorites. A family member first introduced me to this place a couple of years ago. It was so good that my coworkers and I visited several more times that same month.
Fast forward to 2026, and I realized I had never reviewed this shop! It is a family-run restaurant focusing on several types of Banh Mi sandwiches. They use French bread that is perfectly crunchy and stuffed with a generous amount of pickled vegetables and protein. This time, I ordered two sandwiches: one for lunch and one for dinner. I went with the Saigon Special and the Roast Pork.
The Saigon Special is well-balanced with pâté, pork, pickled carrots, and radish. It has a slight heat from the jalapeños and is refreshed by the cilantro. However, my favorite is the Roast Pork Banh Mi. The crispy, savory pork skin and meat mixed with the pickled vegetables make it delicious. Oh and it were $12.00 each. Not too bad for the price.
The service was fine—nothing unique or bad—and the cashier was friendly and patient. Ordering was quick and easy.
The restaurant has a great atmosphere with a few tables inside and some seating on the outdoor lanai/walkway. Between the crazy number of Thai Constellation Monsteras inside and the large plants outside, it was a very comfortable place to wait for my takeout order. (I imagine the exterior seating might be a bit unpleasant in the heat of the afternoon, though.)
Overall, this and “No Name” restaurant are my favorite go-to places for Banh Mi.

It’s one of the best Bahn Mi shops on the island!
The place is small but has a good amount of outdoor seating. I tried the Saigon Special and Roasted Pork. The bread was really good. Crispy on the outside and soft in the middle. The Roasted Pork is more or less chopped crispy pork. Both are really good. Check them out!

Favorite Things
Wow this bread is really good. So crispy and flaky on the outside, and soft pillowy on the inside. The filling of the sandwich is where they lose some stars from me. It is really sweet, too sweet for me. This is more like a dessert sandwich, which confuses me. I would only come back for the bread

Fantastic tofu Bahn Mi! Some Bahn Mi’s have too much bread to filling ratio but not Le’s! It’s packed with amazing tofu and veggies! Will definitely be coming back.

Excellent freshly made lemongrass banh mi ! The Vietnamese Iced coffee was delicious but strong! The restaurant space is spotless and the help is welcoming. It’s a busy place during lunch hour but plenty of table seating on the deck. Can’t wait to try another banh mi next time. Surcharge of 3% if paying by credit card. Best to park at Walmart and walk across the street. Although they do have valet parking if desired.

The Saigon Special and Roast Pork Banh Mi are my faves!!! The bread is light and crispy but still holds up well, even when stuffed with all the delicious components The roast pork is juicy and tasty with pieces of crispy skin. I like that it’s chopped into smaller pieces so it’s easier to eat. The Saigon Special is filled with 2 types of pork rolls, ham, char siu, pate, pickles, mayo, cilantro and cucumbers. Everything is fresh and perfectly seasoned! And I appreciate that they take the time to carefully put together beautiful sandwiches.

This is my family’s go to spot for Bahn Mi sandwiches.
Their Bahn Mi’s are awesome. The bread always has a nice crunch but soft inside. The roast pork has that soft and sweet meat with some fat for a nice bite. The lemongrass chicken is tender and has that nice lemongrass zest. The veggies in the Bahn mi add that nice fresh refreshing crunch to each bite, the pickled daikon and carrots add that nice acid punch, and top that off with a nice kick of spice with the fresh jalapeño
My go to is the roast pork, my wife and son is the lemongrass chicken.
We typically call in our orders, so they are always ready and service is always a quick in and out.
Their inside is vibrant and zen with plant decor.
Inside seating is limited and there are a few more seats outside.
It’s located on the 3rd floor of the 808 Center which is on the corner of Rycroft & Sheridan St.
Their parking I believe is the lift type that someone drives your car into. I never tried it as we typically just get take out.
