Came here for a breakfast date with my sister and we loved it! The atmosphere is perfect—great music and very aesthetic decor.
We tried the Gansito iced coffee; it’s perfect if you like a strong brew, though it might be a bit intense if you prefer something sweeter. The red chilaquiles were the star of the show—so flavorful! The staff was incredibly welcoming and friendly. I’ll definitely be returning to this Corona gem!

Service was prompt and our waters never went below half way. We went at 12:30 on a Saturday and sat right away. The chilaquiles and the birria Benedict were exceptional. Everything tasted fresh and flavorful! Chili oil on the Benedict is spicy! Overall great! Not too loud. No blaring music. Very easy to pass this place and it’s a shame if you do!

From start to finish, this was one of the best meals I’ve had in years! A few of us were in town celebrating a birthday and stopped here for dinner before heading back to LA. We tried a ton of different menu items and couldn’t believe the quality. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly portioned. Our server was lovely and we got to speak with the owner for a bit. This is a great family owned business and we can’t wait to come back!

Food was good! I’m so picky on my chilaquiles as I like them crunchy and not soggy. I ordered steak and egg chilaquiles and they were exactly how I like them with a nice crunch. My family got pancakes and someone else got Nutella French toast and oh my goodness delicious! They topped these with fresh cream
I recommend this place for family, girls brunch dinner date etc perfect for all occasions. The restaurant is small but we’ll organized with seating I didn’t feel claustrophobic at all. It was good.

Oh they are hosting paint night as well with yummy food! Look at their Website. I’d like to add the Mexican waiter with yellowish green eyes had excellent customer service. We will return definitely worth.

I actually found this place through a TikTok video and I’m so glad I gave it a try! Definitely recommend making a reservation because it gets super busy, and otherwise you’ll be waiting. The staff is very friendly and attentive, which made the experience even better.

The food was absolutely delicious—modernized but still tastes authentic, which is so important. I loved everything about it and will definitely be back!

Let’s be REAL on Reviews . Truth is Reservations $25 a person or wait 30-45 min. 2 hr. Time limit to order and eat and starts once you’re seated. No refills on aquas frescas or coffee. Extra anything they charge even if you want half green and red on your food. salsa. No chips or salsa or water offered . Brought my own cake and they charge $2.50 per person or no outside food . Syrup doesn’t taste like syrup , food is good. Presentation of food is great, customer service none, unless you ask for something , 18% gratuity and CA , tax charge automatically. Nice people , good food but honestly when you charge for everything even when you bring your own cake I will not be back. Customer service for more tap water would be nice, or even salsa should be accommodated when you have a party of 7.

They call it De Poca Madre, but after eating there I think it really means De Poca Ganas — no effort in the food or service

I came here for brunch at 11am and it was honestly one of the worst dining experiences I’ve ever had. We waited 50 minutes outside before being seated. Once inside, the place was extremely noisy—no music, no ambiance, just a small restaurant echoing with everyone’s conversations.

The service was awful. We had to flag down multiple employees just to get basic assistance. I ordered the Café de Olla—it was cold, bitter, and so strong I had to add four half-and-half packets just to drink it. When I asked for a refill, I was told there were no refills, and we weren’t even offered water until 20 minutes later, after repeatedly asking.

It took 30 minutes for the food to arrive, and when it did, it was trash. Every dish was all about presentation but had zero flavor—not the salsa, not the pico de gallo, not even the whole onions. De Poca Sabor!!! Everything was bland, lifeless, and overpriced. By noon, they were already out of French toast, which was one of the few things we wanted to try.

We ordered multiple dishes to give them a fair chance (Beef Empanadas, Guacamole y Chicharron, Eggs Your Way, Arrachera y Huevos, La Gobernadora), and every single one was disappointing. What’s worse is that this place is clearly a scam built on Instagram hype. The fancy plating is meant to trick people into thinking the food is special, but it’s all for show.

This place is overpriced, poorly managed, and absolutely not worth the time or money. It felt like fraud. Honestly, I wouldn’t be surprised if they went out of business soon because they are ripping people off.

Everyone beware: save your money and go elsewhere.

Mexico is a vast country that has many different regional cuisines. It’s not all refried beans and globs of melted cheese.

The menu selection and quality of food here is superb. Is it different – for someone who has traveled many times to Mexico I’m going to say no it isn’t but is it new to what you’d typically find in Tex-Mex restaurant here if that’s what you like and are use to.

Every dish that came out of the kitchen looked good. Portions are good, you should not leave hungry! Service is also a plus point – all staff work together – so you’re not left with waiting on one server.

Atmosphere is casual yet comfortable. The live music was a nice touch!

We’ll be back!

We got:

White Sangria and a paloma
Very sweet and flavorful drinks

Horchata Iced Coffee
Tasted more like a Cafe de olla with some subtle horchata flavoring. Strong but good flavor.

Qucamole and chicharron
Best guacamole I have ever had. Chicharron tasted like it was store bought but no complaints.

Arechera y huevos
Delicious, nice juicy tender steak. Potatoes tasted better then they looked.

Chilaquiles
Nice heat to it, eggs over easy and hangar steak. All very flavorful and a hint of spice. Steak was medium well and juicy
