Me and my family love hunters, bar-and-grill ever Since we moved to the area about 6 years ago whether it be dining in for a game or getting food to go down. I’m 5 minutes to sit at the river and eat with nature. As a matter of fact writing this post, it has made my wife want to go.Get some blts, so I’ll have to pick up a little later on

Nice local bar with good atmosphere. We popped in for a brew and some lunch. The food was ok, typical bar food. The onion rings were so greasy we both got sick to our stomach. Cheeseburgers were ordered medium rare, both came out more then well done (why ask how someone wants them?). The service was not very good although she was pleasant. This tavern is a country theme for sure. Homemade furniture from locals, very nice wildlife pictures and a pizza known as the Columbian. The other food is great as well. The staff is friendly and the prices moderate. Stop in for a burger and a cool one when passing through hunters.

I love the whole look of this bar. It’s like stepping back in time with the wood surrounding and the carpeted floors. Just a kind of long lost experience with everything that has become so modern. This is the kind of place that feels nostalgic and as if you have memories here even if you’ve never been here before. I hope it stays for many more years to come.

We were driving along Roosevelt Lake and looking for a place for lunch. We found this place and what a great little spot it is. Staff was so nice and friendly. Food was great and prices were reasonable. Bartender talked to us and gave us tips on things to explore in the area. If you ever find yourself in Hunters and need a place to eat this is the place!
