Amazing experience at Desire!!
Couldn’t recommend this place highly enough to anyone who wants traditional English roast.
Atmosphere was warm and cosy very attentive staff
The food was succulent and flavourful!
We both went for the mixed meat we were very happy leaving.
The chef came & had a chat with us which we really appreciated, pints on draught and lots to choose from.
We left absolutely stuffed and will definitely be coming back.

Beautiful meal at Desire. All of the food was excellent and really well presented.
We recommend the spaghetti bolognese and pene bufala – both dishes were packed full of flavour and were generous portions too.
The tiramisu for dessert is also a must!
The ambience was so cosy throughout the restaurant and the service was excellent. Again, thank you to all the lovely girls who served us!

What a lovely place this was! Love the aesthetic interior and the cute little tapas they served us. The cocktails were amazing and has a personal touch. Staff are super friendly and very helpful. Perfect for date night or a soothing dinner out. Food was yum and so was the company.

Excellent, very tasty and filling Sunday lunch. Three of us and we each had something different: for starters, Caprese salad, Arancini with beef n Ragu, Arancini with mozzarella, and truffle. Then different mains: lamb, chicken, and roast beef. We each commented on the taste, with hickory which made it very pleasant but it was all cooked v well, esp the meat and the roast potatoes, I felt.
Excellent latte coffees to finish, too. (We were too full for dessert!)
We had a window table so very light, which was good.
The service was very good, patient and informative when asked.
The ambience was relaxed and chatty – bistro type pub?
Toilets were modern n v clean too.
Would definitely recommend.

Myself and my partner went for dinner tonight. We were served by the lovely Cam who was more than happy to engage in conversation and help us out with any questions we had! I had the spaghetti bolognese and my partner had the chicken and mushroom grilled dish. It was all fantastic and we will be back again!

When we went it was really quiet and it’s such a shame this place deserves more recognition. The staff was polite and friendly. The food was delicious and at a good price. To but it simply this is a place I would go again and would recomend.

Had a very nice experience last night. It’s a little unusual in that it feels like an Italian restaurant on the menu even if it doesn’t look particularly Italian. Mostly pasta, pizza and seafood dishes. I had the rigatoni which was lovely. Melted buffalo cheese on it. My father had the seafood risotto with loads of mussels. I felt the prices were reasonable and the service friendly. The atmosphere was exposed brickwork and nice lighting. Wasn’t fully packed in there but the staff did not rush us or anyone else.

Tried Desire for the first time today and really pleased we did. Food was very tasty and excellent value. I had the Roast Beef as did my wife and we both felt it was the nicest we’ve had at a restaurant in a very long time. Service was good and staff very friendly. Couldn’t fault it at all and we’ll definitely be back.
