Doesn’t look like much when you look at it from the outside, but they serve great food. Only one man was working there when I stopped by. Small shop too, with a TV playing in the corner. I ordered the falafel meal with tahini sauce and the peanut butter cookies.
The food was really good though. The prices are fantastic as well! Great place to stop by if you are on a budget. The falafel came in a great portion and was nicely packaged for takeout. It was nice and crispy on the outside. Plus, it was flavorful and soft on the inside. The tahini sauce was a little acidic, so not my favorite, but still pretty good.
The peanut butter cookies were just okay. I probably wouldn’t order them again if I came back. The drought itself was not very sweet and almost flavorless. Only the chocolate topping was good (it was like a Hershey kiss). Maybe the baklava is better? But, I will say, it is a good portion for the price since you get 2 cookies per order.
All in all, a nice spot in a hidden location. Better than I expected, and a fantastic deal! I really enjoyed the falafel but the cookies were mediocre.

LOVE the shawarmas – it’s so flavorful and just the right proportions of meat. Falafels are so good too. super friendly service/staff.

Friendly service, tasty food.
The first time I went there I got the Gyro, the second time I got the chicken Shawarma. I like the Gyro better but the shawarma is not bad.
The falafel are some of the best of ever had.
Thank you chef.

Great food. Loved it Shwarma chicken and rice. Also the falafel was the best I have tasted so far. I have had better chicken gyros but this place is a must try.

This is BY FAR my favorite place to get food in Pittsburgh! The food is always amazing (I’m vegan, and I love that they clearly mark what is vegan on the menu), the prices are super affordable, and they are extremely kind people – supporting a family-owned small business is so important and this is a great place to support!! I usually get the falafel wrap and a side of hummus and pita. Tastes better than any other Mediterranean restaurant food I’ve ever had – please give this place a try!!

First time here, and it’s a great little surprise! Ordered the baba ganoush and tabbouli salad… both were fresh and delicious! Carry out only, cash preferred.

One of the best Mediterranean spots in Pittsburgh, by far the restaurant in Penn Hills. There are very few healthy take out options in Penn hills or Monroeville.
Everything I’ve had from here is delicious. Big fan of the falafel and the mouttabal.

Excellent, fresh food from a true mom and pop restaurant for reasonable prices. What else do you want?
They did not answer the phone and do not seem to have a way to order ahead of time, but the food came out quickly when I ordered in person.
The desserts are not made in-house, but it seems everything else is. The shawarma, falafel, tabbouleh, and hummus were all as good as anything I’ve had for twice the price elsewhere in Pittsburgh.

By Far this is the best Falafel sandwich in Pittsburgh I’ve tried. Majority of restaurant in the city makes frozen Falafel, this one is FRESH Falafel and just like what you’d crave. ✌️

I checked the reviews before ordering and I trusted y’all I really wanted to like it but was just confused! Salads are good and so were the falafel (probably). The gyro honestly 4/10 didn’t taste bad but there wasn’t anything remarkable about it. The chicken over rice 1/10, simply because the rice tastes good and so did the chicken BUT it’s not middle eastern or Mediterranean, it’s just seasoned chicken? The chicken was really small compared to what you would get at another restaurant in the city. I was confused. They also added kidney beans and salsa that tasted like it came out of the jar.. I was so confused. Why was there salsa??? They used store bought tahini and commercial garlic sauce. So if you’re looking for authentic Mediterranean/middle eastern this place just isn’t the best. I would only go back for the salads tbh and the falafel but nothing more. Owners are kind though and work fast but overall we were disappointed.
