I needed a cake for a cookout this past summer . I was unfamiliar with the Waxahachie area and found HEB. The parking lot was crazy due to construction .
I made it to the bakery and saw a beautiful chocolate cake with a whipped strawberry icing. The taste matched the pretty presentation. The cake itself was not dry and actually tasted very good! It was a huge hit at the cookout and it did not last long. I am not a fan of grocery store bakery cakes but this cake made me a believer.

HEB is an awesome grocery store. But Everytime I go to the bakery the young ladies act like they are annoyed to help me and rush my order even when I say I’m not ready yet! Very rude and I believe they are racist in nature due to the fact that on more than one occasion, I experienced this same behavior from different bakers.
